Just watched the highlights, no complaints about the score but some things leave a nasty taste:
1. When both teams are called United, referring to Man Utd. as United is quite offensive. 2. The whole Sky commentary was from the home team's perspective. This was demonstrated when they agreed that Rooney should have been sent off, but they were angry about him for putting the game at risk. 3. Why was the cunt who dived in front of Sakho not booked, a clear case of cheating to get somebody sent off. 4. The cunts who surrounded the ref. browbeating him to send our player off, comparing a borderline foul with Rooney's assault on Downing, and then berating him with abuse and hand gestures because he only gave a yellow, why were they not all booked?

Wasn't it so predictable that they were going to use that as an excuse. Pathetic really.

Easy excuse from BFS and Nolan moaning about the disallowed goal (even though it was proved correct decision)... man the fuck up and take it on the chin rather than living on excuses...

I expected us to go there and lose 3-0. I thought we'd sit back and let them dominate, and allow their very talented forward players to pick us apart.
Last season, them going down to 10 would have made little difference. They would have gone on to score more.
I'm not getting too down about losing to Man United at Old Trafford.

I don't think Allardyce bigging up the Mancs all week did a lot for confidence. Said a draw would be 'a great result' one week after the Mancs shippied five goals to a promoted side. Negative, walrus cunt.

but that was the shittiest Manc side I've seen in decades. And there were only 10 of them. We just weren't ruthless enough
100% agree..... real chance thrown away ... in form... shit Man U team that just shipped FIVE v Leicester... loads of defensive injuries... we missed a massive opportunity... felt like there was fuck all composure... Noble was a big miss for us and would have made a difference

In an interview hours before the match, Wayne Rooney claimed he was "a lot more mature"...

Lets not kid ourselves that the Rooney sending off was a turning point and we still could have been thrashed. It was our luck and we didn't capitalise.
I would have taken off Valencia for Zarate.
Valencia is worrying me. He need to learn it's a team game.

Don't cry Jacket, it's that some are disappointed that we let a great opportunity slip by. Not everyone is happy in defeat like yourself. We move on, but bottom line is we shoud have got something and I for one am stll annoyed that those cunts have beaten us again.

A month back we was certs for relegation on here, now we are expected to beat man U at OT.
Quite a quick turnaround that.

Absolutely no shame losing to Man Utd away playing like that. Some people on here are just plain deluded and looking for negatives. Yes we made some mistakes and were torn apart in the first 20 minutes but there was some real fight and put them under pressure. Nobody will want to play us on this form but we aren't good enough to win every game with the players we have.
Why can't some people enjoy us playing good positive football instead of expecting us to be a champions league side and beat everyone.

It is astonishing that you can spend so much & have some massive names and still have something that doesn't resemble a team. Great forwards , no defensive midfield & no central defence. Ludicrous really

Lots of decent individuals but not really playing as a team! We really had them on the rack in the last half hour, the crowd were baying for the whistle to go, like a cup game.
Sloppy mistakes for their goals and our finishing cost us this time.
Last season lack of desire cost us we didn't even have a go, this was a massive improvement for us, must get a win next week now, no foot off the gas.

A team with Rooney, Van Persie, DiMaria, Falcao, two World Cup finalists , a £27m left back & £37m Juan Mata on the bench is NOT the shittest Man U side in 'decades'. Terribly unbalanced & uneven but still contains some major talent. That said we missed an opportunity
