always been my complaint of Dean. he is afraid of making a bad call against the big teams and panders to them as a result. My exact thinking at the time of the foul was that he would give the red because he was too worried about getting it wrong against the mancs. The player reactions certainly helped with that too.

The club should demand Dean be barred from officiating any further West Ham games, if necessary by taking it to court.
A line has to be drawn somewhere (yes, you get my drift).

If Feghouli had not been sent off I think we go on to win that game. United looked sluggish and there for the taking. Did not look threatening until Rashford came on. You cant fault our effort yesterday. Thought they put a real shift in and looked sharp. As good as Antonio is he is not a natural finisher.

One thing is for sure - obiang should be the first name on the starting 11. And for the first 15 mins, we played better without noble. I still think kouyate is better in defence then midfield

Not sure if it's been mentioned but I thought the behaviour of Jones and the Man U players were the reason feghouli was sent off.
Straight after dean looked round for the ball as if he was gonna play on. It was the reaction of Jones and about four or five of their lot rushing to the referee that made his mind up.
Both players went in hard and made contact with the other - it's not even clear cunt which way the free kick should've been given. our lot didn't react at all. I wouldn't want our players to behave like that but it makes you wonder what the decision would've been if they'd got in dean's face and shouted for Jones to be punished.
Dean is a poor, weak ref but the likes of Man Utd have decades of experience of being cunts and exploiting that.

Disappointed with the Man City fans on MotD - they seem to have caught the Man U habit of shouting handball whenever the ball makes contact with an opposition player above knee height.

In all fairness, Nordtveit had played 90 minutes 48 hours earlier, and an hour of yesterday's game, whereas Rushford had played 20 minutes of football on the same period, and is full of beans anyway. He would've done the same to anyone.
Nordtveit should start ahead of Kouyate in midfield.

Rashford plays that wide left position very well.
Not sure what sort of idiot manager would play Lingard ahead of Rashford and Mata.
Feel a bit sorry for Nordviedt. Doesn't look like he has played right back in his life before he came to us.
Need a right back this week to compete with Byram.
How hard is it to find a right back SOMEWHERE?

I actually think nordy did alrite yesterday, ok rashford tore him a new one, but he aint a RB and rashford is a great player.

Think it's time to sell Payet. Watching him last night, he's clearly not interested. The team can survive and maybe improve without him, spending his money wisely i.e. A new right back and a striker.
Surely we can all see the logic in this

We played well
you cant control the officials
The lino for the second should be dropped aswell as Dean.....watching it last night and even if his view of Ibra was hindered his view of Pogba wasnt and how he thinks he isnt interferring ill never know
A right back and a Striker in Jan is the minimum and we need to get Payet firing again. He was missing after we went down to 10
Special mention to Lanzini, who was superb.....had the courage to get on the ball and make things happen in tight situations
