Winning games against the likes of Boro affords us some freedom and ambition against the top teams, rather than desperately hanging on for an invaluable point. Although a win would be nice (obviously), I think it's more important that we work hard and continue this team commitment we've been building over the previous two games. It's great to watch.

Didn't realise that Bravo has only actually made 8 (EIGHT) saves the whole prem season?? Pretty sure that's what I read in yesterday's paper??

Our MASSIVE PLAINS seems to suit all the top sides... as long as they can pass the ball that is...

City were shit hot for the first 30 mins on sat......our big pitch suits them too and doesnt suit us so much with Carroll up top

Again though they looked shaky at the back, stick Carroll up against Bravo at every oppourtunity

We scored 3 times against the team with the 5th best defence. We should be bloody optimistic against a fragile City

I don't mind losing, especially to a team like City who are a great team. However I want to see FIGHT and GRAFT and EFFORT if we do and for me that's been the biggest difference.

I think we can give them a game. They are fragile as fuck at the back and Carroll will scare the shit out of them, especially with the confidence he will take into that game.

God I hope he stays fit.

Still a bit stumped why he brought on Calleri instead of Fletcher, but he (kind of) scored, so not that bothered.

Great result. Decent game. Thought 'Boro deserved a bit more if being honest but fuck them.

Onwards and upwards. Really chuffed for the lads who have really put in the effort for Slav in last two games.

Can't see any reason why we should fear Citeh now. Yes, they smashed us last time but since then we have massively improved and they are floundering.

Get into them. Rough them up. Get in their faces. Make the uncomfortable. Let's see how good Otemendi and Stones are when Big Andy is flying into them like a fucking flying steel Geordie nutter. Stones will shit himself.

Great performance. Great win, some good goals and Carrolls 'injury' looked a precaution.

Bring on CITEH

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this but this morning on Goals on Sunday and yesterday during the commentary the pundits were waxing lyrical about the Middlesbrough goal being an eight man move. Haven't heard a single mention about the second Carroll goal which every outfield player had a hand in and was 19 passes before the Antonio shot.

Er, we have won 2 games on the bounce without Kouyate, scoring 6 and conceding 1. How on earth have we missed him? We have been fucking appalling when he has started in midfield.

I honestly wonder if he has special powers to convince people he is Vieira, when he is actually a very average midfielder in reality. Can't pas, can't shoot, has no movement at all, but he runs really fast and is big.

Fucking hell.

Thought it was an entertaining game of football from both sides, Traore looked dangerous.
Despite the ref made some bad decisions, he did his best to keep the game flowing, playing advantage where he could.

Great team performance, my only niggle is we seem very lightweight in midfield, often our smaller players would go flying when tackled, Obiang is great at his job, but he has a slim frame and can get pushed away easily. Maybe that's where we're missing Koyate.

Best game Carroll has had in a long time. Seemed more energetic & defended when needed too. No surprise this happened when he was helped out up front. I've been critical of him but if he played like that every week how could I be? Still hope we get a different kind of striker in too though. Somebody with pace.

Went to sleep at 1-1 as I had some stomach pain woke up to a 1-3 West ham win, lovely that, I said last week Carroll is great when he is on form but no one can tell me he is a goal scorer, LOL !.
Anyway very happy for the fans who went I thought that would have been a very good game to win as the other games coming up will be hard, sweet sweet night, COYI,s raise a lager to the Hammers folks.
