Sunderland were woeful but we didnt deserve to beat them thats how bad we were.

Second half Pickford didnt make a save.

Only decent player we have atm is Lanzini, although i thought Masuaku and Fernandes did well.

Randolph was obvioulsy awful.

Problem was the space to exploit was in the channels and we had two wingers who both wanted to cut inside and didnt really have any pace. Pointless playing Carroll if you arent going to give him service.

Oh and Byram is terrible.

Yet another game where you walk out of the ground just wishing the season would end. I dont think it's as bad as it seems. New manager and getting players back on form and we'll improve massivly - with some new additions of course.

comma, our best 11 will still have goal keeping AND right back liability.

Quite a few late on as well Vexed I'll bet

gutting to see some of the late goals we've conceded and the teams we've done it against all around us.

Evan if you halved that figure of 22 we'd be comfortable in the top half.

According to the beeb we've chucked away 22 points from leading positions this season, the highest number in the league.

We have gone 13 away games without a clean sheet in the league.

Wankers.

Agree with that. We haven't been at all convincing in nearly every win we have had. We got lucky for a short spell and got points on the board despite playing shit. We could easily have been in the bottom three and have no-one else to blame.

There are very few highlights to this season despite record transfer spending on the back of a 7th finish previously, and our squad is now littered with expensive flops that'll be hard to shift.

Wouldn't be surprised if we lose Lanzini in the summer as he is head and shoulders above the rest, and should be playing at a higher level, like Payet deserved.

A 2-2 defeat is a narrow one to be fair

I'm done with Billic now. Much like when BFS persisted with Nolan when it was clear to all except him, the keeper situation highlights that Billic should go.
I have always thought Adrian is the better keeper as does anyone who knows anything at all about football, it is obvious.

Does the manager know what the best 11 are or where to play them? As for them all being fit at one time...no chance!

I agree with Eerie Descent, not winning that game was entirely down to Randolph. If we had had a spastic in leg braces in goal we would have won

Randolph really is dogshit and needs to be fucked off in the summer without a doubt. A shit keeper unsettles the whole defence.

Our best eleven, fit and available, would have won comfortably yesterday.

Re: ⚽ Sunderland v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 2-2
what limp timid gutless show that was yesterday. Two awful sides who didnt have enough to beat each other.

We play a counter attacking game without any pace, any committing of players and game plan at all.

Whole patches of the game went by with no one showing for the ball, no one doing anything other than shuffling sideways, until finally even sunderland got bored and tried to at least get the ball bask

How many times do you see us receiving the ball , back to goal, midpoint in their half, and then lose it- due to either a crap ball being played; poor control; or the fact theres not another west ham shirt within ten yards.

How the fuck we arent in the bottom three I have no idea- we hit a lucky streak at a time when other dipped and here we are.

an average of 2 goals a game conceded for over 12 months; what 10+ players brought in, millions spen and we look about as good as the side that Grant took down.

A criminal wast of our time and money this season- Antonio apart ansd maybe Lanzini in patches im struggling to think of any of these cunts are worth keeping

Re: ⚽ Sunderland v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 2-2
Watched the game whilst on holiday, predictable that we'd sit back and be desperately holding on.

Other than the obvious Randolph stuff, I thought that Lanzini overplays when he should just clear the ball. Quite a few times he tried a trick when in the defensive third - sometimes it came off, others it didn't. Great player but wish he'd keep it simple sometimes!

Also - Anichebe is an embarrassment. A guy that size with that strength, chucking himself on the floor without much more than someone sneezing on him. Ridiculous.

Just noticed he now leads the league in the ERRORS LEADING TO GOALS stat.

Excellent work considering he hasn't played a full season.
