Our Centre Midfield is also the worst in the Premier League!

If we stay up a massive overhaul is needed. Something which I think the Owners are not financially prepared to do.

Even the likes of Cresswell, Reid and Kayoute. Key players 2/3 years ago. How has their form dipped so much? You cant blame age for them 3 and they have still turned utter shit.

It's not rocket science the first team squad is way too old hence why they struggle to put the energy in in and around the pitch consistently!..Yes in some one off games when they do put it in you can see the difference!..The team needs a massive overhaul, anyone 30-31 unless they're a mustard player has to be moved on..this game is all about fitness levels and hard work with a bit of quality sprinkled in there!...I mean Noble and Kouyate my god were they playing defensive midfield or RB and RWB at times?...they vacated the centre of the pitch far too often leaving the defence exposed especially for the first goal!...is it their concentration levels or the skill of the other players dragging them out of position!..They need to be more disciplined!..at least 7 of that starting 11 i would get shot of in the summer if we stay up!

Amount of full backs on the pitch at any given time?

Sven Roeder 8:39 Mon Mar 5
Re: ⚽ Swansea v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Not bottom?
Usually a stat you can predict with your own eyes but some of the figures would be interesting.
Number of sprints
Number of sprints to close down when the other team has the ball
Amount of time spent standing still or walking

Not sure if we care about the DISTANCE COVERED table anymore, but if we do, we're in the bottom 3 again this week.

What a pity Bilic could not get performances out of Zaza.

Zaza Gabor's just knocked another one in for Valencia, just to rub things in a bit.

Its hard to fathom what happened yesterday, how can we be so bad,I really hope we can improve and sustain our performances....I'm travelling over next Saturday,my first visit to the London Stadium.

Watching highlights again the odd thing is that Swansea scored from 2 corners and of course a pen although they did have a hatful of other chances. Arnautovic had 2 very good chances 2nd half. The first goal was reminiscent of Brighton away who scored 2 from distance and our central midfield did not close down the man in possession.

The loss of all the CBs bar young Rice had an impact yesterday for sure and the depth or lack of depth in the squad was exposed.

What was so disappointing was the lack of pressing and our inability to withstand their pressing. Simply down to lack of legs ( we need Arfur) and a midfield where there was not one player prepared or able to get close to them. Its why we simply had no link to the attack who were isolated for much of the game.

The spine of the team is weak. Noble is ageing and slow and only Ogbonna looks like he is up to another few seasons as Reid is crocked and Collins a veteran. Rice needs more time to be a regular first choice. The central midfield and midfield as a unit remains the biggest issue though. Lanzini even when fit is not consistent enough and to we need workers around him who can also pass. Kouyate is not ever going to be the answer and we need a replacement for Noble and another CB.

3 top quality signings would transform us but that is going to 100 million+ in fees and large wages. Wont happen under these owners especially if we are in the Championship which looks a real possibility now.

Yes, a great feat from now, not necessarily when he took over. I said at the time he took over he had the easiest job in world football in terms of getting a squad of good players who were massively underperforming.

Strangely enough, it's the really "great feat" of the Swansea manager this is going fuck us up. There momentum is changing who that bottom 3 were destined to be. And our chairman and boss have been complacent in thinking that we are out of our issues.

Moyes seems to be an loyal man and I cant imagine a football manager demanding less not more resource if asked. The reality is he probably wants a contract extension and not toeing the line with your employers is probably not going to get you far (especially with them mouthy pricks that run the club).

I have hope though. I think when Arthur is back, with a full squad and some intensive, relentless pressing we can get some points off the bigger teams who wont expect that from us. But Moyes really has to push these guys to get it done.

We need 3 wins out of the next 10. I dont care where they come from, lets hope we are lucky for a bit.

Looks like Moyes is gonna get less points than the useless Bilic for the third successive season.

Probably is a reasonable feat to keep us up now, but not when he took over. Easy job to do better than the useless Bilic surely?

This ginger cunt could help himself by picking a half decent starting line-up, yesterdays was pitiful.

What a shithouse club we are now. I don't know if I even care if we go down now. Cunts top to bottom.

I can’t see how it would be a great feat.
Moyes has had time to assess the squad and January to make some reinforcements mainly through adding some pace and intensity.
We looked old tired unbalanced and disinterested yesterday.

If you are talking about a great feat the Swansea manager has won 7 home games at a time when most had given up on them.
Now they are on the up and have a home tie v Spurs in the FA Cup qtr final.

Re: ⚽ Swansea v West Ham - Official Match Thread
No one can be surprised by Swansea destroying us. Their form is amazing, same with Liverpool. What is surprising is knowing the run we have and only being a few points off the drop we get rid of an experienced defender and didn’t spend the ayew money on another player that would help us with this run.

Looking at the fixture list there are only two games we should win, Southampton and stoke. That leaves us with 36 points which could be one of the lowest survival points ever. The good thing is that Southampton and stoke are below us so it will be a 6 pointer but that’s about it.

I said it last week, the chairman are at the fucking casino! They gamble all the fucking time with this club. Never make the obvious decisions for the benefit of the club. They just wing it all the time. Trying to find cheap deals and bargains (Joe hart). Luckily getting out of trouble (if carol and Nolan didn’t come back from injury under Allardyce we would have gone down), keeping Bilic for ages when we all knew he’d lost it.

We are here again. If moyes gets us out of this it will be a great feat to be fair. Hopefully a team like arsenal or an uninspired Everton will let us have a point or two but this is going to be another unnecessary season of flirting with danger. I just don’t get the mentality of the owners.
