weve conceded 16 goals and scored a poxy 2 against them in our last four games. Got to be the worst/joke team regardless of a manager and formations. Fucking sick of rolling over to these cunts.

So many people on here making excuses and with a defeatist attitude. Liverpool are a good side but we didn't even give them a game, we made it incredibly easy for them. Other teams will go there and give them a game. We roll over far too easy.

Learn from the Youth team , they have Pride .
Xande Silva just scored a hat trick against Spurs under 23,s side.

I suspect Pellers will stick with the same team and formation against Bournemouth. For me he's either got to protect the defence better in midfield or failing that play more defensively at full back. You can't just play chumps in midfield and full backs that can't defend in a four. Got to do one or the other or well get arseholed every single week.

"esoecially as we will go 442"

what makes you say that?

Must admit our goalscoring in pre season was not impressive...
Just a few goals against inferior competition is worrying...
All relying on Arnautovich...
A long tough season awaits...esoecially as we will go 442...most of the time with high presdung game...leaving gaps...
Not knickerwetting....just opinions...
From afar...and Pool game live TV...

It was a deeply worrying display against LFC.

If we lose next weak, my knickers will be well and truly soaking.

Once Kouyaté is fit he will be able to bolster our midfield.

The Walrus was on TS this AM with Brazil... talked about our game... said it was a massive mistake us letting Kouyate go .... then again he always loved a midfielder that could not pass over 5 yards to one of his team mates the fucking cod head eating jowly faced freak...

Reality then says we will have an easier run at some point then.

Either the system will come together and we will be a better team at the end of the season or we won't.

Patience.

Ironsof. Well if we do lose against Bournemouth we could be in a bit of trouble as the next 7 games include Arsenal, Everton, Chelsea, Man Utd and Spurs so there won't be many, if any, points coming from that quintet

Not only the wing, just one of the three other attacking players.

Switch them up, move them around and up with Hernandez

We did it in preseason briefly and I think that is what Pellegrini wants to play if we are able.

Sir Alf 2:15 Mon Aug 13
Yes Anderson has played there and most places across the front line.

boleyn8420 3:11 Mon Aug 13

Scanning the comments most people are saying pretty much the opposite.

I say it will be a better test as to whether we can make this system work with these players. Better than against a top pressing and attacking team away.

We still might lose, real change takes time but they are not near as fast or as precise as Liverpool.

Re: ⚽ Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Already people are looking at an easy win against Bournemouth. Why?

They have a settled team and formation we are all over the place. What did anyone get from that first performance to glibly say that a win against Bournemouth will soon put the knicker wetters in their place. After all we couldn't beat them last season. I think people should be taking this game a little bit more seriously than they are. After all these are the type of teams that are our peers in this division.

Re: ⚽ Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Beating us 4-0 gives scousers a temporary hit but always at the back of their minds is the fact that their team has not won the top league title in England for a generation.

That is one big open festering wound and to win the PL title is their holy grail.

Early days but the idea of moving Anderson into the Lanzini role sounds plausible. That said, has he ever played in that role?
Would mean Wilshire dropping deeper and Noble to the bench. Obiang or Sanchez to come in ( probably the former).

southlondonhammer 2:05 Mon Aug 13
Re: ⚽ Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Antonio needs to be dropped - fat fucking lump lacks any kind of football brain and his work rate was shocking

Jack looked a lot more comfortable when he was dropped back in the defensive midfield position, don't know much about Sanchez but if he has a bit of pace then he would work well alongside

ARTHUR cannot play in a back 4, hopefully Cresswell is fit for the weekend

for me i would go

Fabianski
Fredericks
Rice
Ogbonna
Creswell

JACK
Sanchez

ARTHUR
Anderson
ARNIE

Hernandez

is it too early to call-out Bournemouth, at home, in our second game as " SAVE OUR SEASON?!" .....

Re: ⚽ Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Masuaku is painful to watch at LB ...wasted as well there!!..i would have him on the LW and bring Anderson into the middle behind the Striker with Yarma on the RW..
