Sven...
I'd blame Carroll more than Diang for their second...
He's 6.4... should have done better...

Boycie you and every one else who sits at the front need to complain to the club about stewards standing up on 85 minutes or it will soon become 75 minutes believe me the people making these decisions are totally paranoid and think you are all worthless scumbags and hooligans and just remember you are paying for the privilege of having your view impeded
Obviously you were good coz your steward was asleep but he won’t be next game
Where do you sit

Just seen the injury; lovely. He'll be out for a few days.

Either way, we looked better (IMO) with Carroll. Chich and Perez looked too similar for my liking, but what do I know?

I am already looking forward to next week's game. Amazing what happens when you string a few wins together. I do think we give the ball away too much, and that will impede our progress to the next level, but these games are great to watch.

It would be nice to be able to sit back, enjoy the game and not watch the clock (anyone else notice minute 83 lasted about 4 minutes?) but if I waned to do that I'd have to support someone else.

Re: West Ham v Crystal Palace - Official Match Thread FT 3-2
First was poor all round
Rice was asleep to play them all on and when Tomkins won the header none of our players reacted

The second was sloppy like the Man U goal we conceded. Big gap at the near post that Schlupp wandered into for a free header and no one on the post.
Diangana ended up in no mans land at the near post , ball went over his head to a big space. He either needs to mark the player or be the first player of a group so it doesn’t go over his head into a gap.
The centre halves in the middle should be shouting him into position.

What an utterly pointless comment.

i too have enjoyed the games, but the crowd need to rise up earlier when we need it not just after we score, place was dead quiet before the goal.

The football that we're playing is great. I'm actually really enjoying going to games again.

So many times over the years it's just felt like a fucking boring household chore. Like cleaning the inside of a shit-smeared toilet. That's precisely what I've got to do in a moment.

Having to score three to get all the points will not be possible every week. We need to sort out a LB and get more organised. Nothing we could do about the Palace second, but the first should have been miles offside if it wasn't for Rice not holding the line and playing him on, I don't know what he was thinking? Been excellent mostly of late, I suppose he is entitled to the odd mistake as still learning.

That hole in PEREZ's foot is definitely from a stud
Given they play in slippers its surprising there aren't more injuries like that when someone stands or stamps on your foot.

Carroll is out of contract so its not a matter of selling him at the end of the season. He is an alternative but we cant afford £90k a week for that when he is fit for 15 games a season.
With the way we want to play we need another Arnie type. Big enough to lead the line and hold the ball but mobile enough to close down and get around the pitch.

Enjoyed yesterday a lot.

I can't say that I'm enjoying this cunt of a hangover though.

The thing with Carroll is that even though we know he's a donkey, EVERY team we play seem to think he's the positive reincarnation of Alfredo Di Stefano.

He just shits up the opposition for some reason and as said no one else does that. He actually did change the game yesterday, quite a skill for someone so lacking.

Plus if we sell him, you KNOW he will score freely against us

Re: âš½ West Ham v Crystal Palace - Official Match Thread
VH, Carroll definitely unsettled Tomkins and didn't one of the fouls lead to a goal? im not Carroll's biggest fan, and still think we have to release him, but he offers something no other striker can do at the club

I sit in the front row. A steward took 15 mins to work how to put a waterproof on. We all cheered because he looked like he was going to suffocate himself. He then fell asleep. Seriously fell asleep. I took a pic of him but decided not to post it as he would get the sack and at least if he’s asleep he’s not standing up GETTING IN THE WAY YOU STUPID BASTARDS

The reason Perez went off at half time was the foot injury. Looks nasty
