If we are going to sacrifice the mid park to have an extra forward on the pitch we need to buy a fucking good one to partner Arnie.

Do you think we need to strengthen the central midfield area, Alf?

Just watching the City vs Pool game. Speed they play at in midfield and passing accuracy are 2 levels above us. Its what you get with massive investment I suppose. Both midfields are full of sprinters. Pellegrini needs to address this area longer term and the full backs.

Noble ...2 key passes... Arnautovic goal assist... Long pass to Antonio to set up second goal...

Yes .... Noble gives rhythm and depth to the team. 1- Fabianski could do something more in the two goals 2- Noble: gives the goal pass to Arnautovic 3- Antonio: gives the goal pass to Arnautovic 4- Anderson: he did not want to give the goal pass to Lucas Perez The team of the second part was quite similar to the last 2 months that has given us so many joys.

Noble came on and steadied the ship and drove us on. He may be passed it in the stamina stakes but the bloke has something that the others lack.
I do also think that some of the teams mentioned just about get away with the pulling back, ankle tapping, foot in, leaning on etc. "Competitive" We need to up our game and be better at it ourselves.

I think some people have become a bit soft. Didn’t think Brighton bullies us or went over the top at all. We were just flat for most of the game until we got a goal.

Noble had a great game and if it wasn't for him we would have lost
Outstanding.

Bournemouth, Watford, Brighton, Huddersfield are teams of licenced thugs that are allowed by piss poor officials to get away with blue murder. They have all seemed to hit on a formula to turn is over and the other thugs we are yet to play will be watching.

And with that in mind I am sure fatigue has played a part in the Burnley and Brighton games, given the amount of players we have/have had out really hasn't allowed for much squad rotation at all.

I used to think Tottenham fans are embarrassingly fickle and they are, I also wonder if we're not too far behind them sometimes.

I hold Massey at least partly responsible for the non penalty decision, and also when Snodders got quite a bad one over near her that went unpunished.
Got a very tight offside right on Murray though.

Eddie B 10.23 something along the lines of "I'm back in the headlines"
This site gets worse for criticism of the players, as per usual we have half the squad out injured so the players many mention are squad players and wouldn't be pulling on the jersey with a fully fit or near fully fit squad
Without some of them here we'd be really fucked
