What many people fail to realise is how different/hard the PL is especially where he has come from (italy).

He;s had to do a fuck load more defending, yet still shipped 8 goals been a constant threat on the counter attack and been involved in all our best play.

I too think we should drop the only player in the squad who oozes world class.

Got to be honest, I have no idea what the money has to do with it. If we paid £25m, would it be acceptable?

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread FT 2-0 Rice (7' ), Noble (42' pen)
Deluded, utterly deluded.

1 goal every 4 games for a WIDE player, who for the large part has to play more defensively than attacking.

He will get better, that's the great thing about it. He's had an excellent season so far but there's more improvement in him.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread FT 2-0 Rice (7' ), Noble (42' pen)
Buster - Think not. 1 goal in 4 and setting up 3 goals all season IS average for a 42 mil player, first season or not.

I'm expecting him to be better next season and I'm sure Anderson himself and the manager will be too,

Day, what are you expecting of him?

It's not all about STATS, you do know that right?

Anotherday.

It will happen.

We should be more worried when it does happen and were fighting to keep him.

That's why we must keep strengthening., because then he will either decide to stay, or, if he does go, we still have an excellent team without him.

As a club we need to leave behind us, the days of having the token talisman and everything turning to shit if they leave.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread FT 2-0 Rice (7' ), Noble (42' pen)
SUM- I've already said he's our best player since Payet when on form and said Lanzini being back should free him up more. What I'm saying is I think he can be more effective in the final third a lot more, and have no doubt Pellegrini would feel the same. Hopefully that will come next season.

I'm amazed by your ignorance.

It's amazing how some of our fans are so fucking thick.

1 in 4 for a wide player is a very good return, especially for his first season.

His involvement in our all round play is plain to see to anyone who has half a clue about football.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Newcastle - Official Match Thread FT 2-0 Rice (7' ), Noble (42' pen)
Why the anger Block? Having a bad day.

So his goal scoring average is 1 in 4 and he's made 3 goals all season. I'd say an average return so far on a 42 mil investment.

Now go fuck yourself.

You have to take into consideration the fact that we had a brand new team then a shitload of injuries.

Also take into consideration the fact that the bloke has come to a new country, with a different culture and try and settle in. You have to look at things on a human level, too - they're not robots.

He's done well. Look at Tevez, it took him ages to come good, then look what happened.
