You haven't said whether you'd like to see us blow our transfer budget on him? he might be world class, at the moment he's not showing that at Chelsea. Again, this is what suitors are seeing they will base an opinion on current form, not what he has done in previous years.

Absolute bollox, the guy has been pony for Chelsea, this is what potential suitors are seeing, not what he did at Juve a season or 2 ago, its a bit like watching you tube clips of a player and signing him; you don't do it. You might think he's class, would you like to see us blow our transfer budget to buy him in the summer?

Thought Higuain was one of Chelsea's least impressive players last night. They were mainly about Hazard and Kante and as for their centre backs it would be interesting to see how they perform up against someone to work them.
As for us we are still not getting out of the blocks and had we played in the first half like we did in the second we might have come away with a point.

Thought we played really well last night.
Chelsea gradually worked their way into the game and were dominating by the end of the first half. Hazard had that extra 20%, reminded me of how Arnautovic was playing 6 months ago. Instead he and Anderson were just huffing and puffing. That was the difference between them and us.
Second half started even, and we had a chance to pull things back, but again they started to dominate and finished worthy winners.
But there wasn't a lot in it. We weren't outclassed. That performance would have been enough to beat most teams in the league.

It's always nice to know people understand even less about football than I do.. makes me feel a bit better!
Higuain is world class. There isnt really a discussion. Not one player in the Chelsea squad has consitently played to their full potential this season. Otherwise they wouldnt be where they are. So why single him out, a guy whos been there for 3 months!
A lot of it's due to the manager (playing Kante further foreward etc... ). So for a player to come in on loan from a totally different league having been the top striker their for years now, (not even mentioning his Madrid form which was incredible considering the starts he got).
The man doesnt have prove or regain anything.
the problem with Argentina is they have ended up with 5 or 6 or the greatest forwards on earth. Messi, Aguero, Higuain, Dybla, DiMaria, Icardi etc. and no one else anywhere near that level. So the team is just ridiculously unbalanced. Arguably the best teams out there only play with 1 striker anyway. You cant fit 5 or 6 attack minded players on any pitch and win games nowadays.
So to judge Higuain under that circumstance is just silly. Even Messi looks shit in that team.

Because in the rest of the match he wasn't - couldn't make up for our being a man short in midfield in the first half, but no-one else could either.

Its not about being wrong necessarily its about being "willing to be wrong". From a basic understanding of psychology, we are told it is actually a huge indicator of insecurity and often traits that people display when they have a sense of inadequacy, low self- esteem ( usually deep down/ subconscious low confidence). Typically shows itself as "inflexibility" , closed mind etc:, personal insults, avoidance of the substance/facts/data in a discussion -) Basic reverse psychology in other words.
I know I'm an old cvnt / numpty and often wrong btw. :-) Learn that more and more each day.
