Don’t know about you lot but I found the relaxed, almost formalistic nature of proceedings yesterday both satisfying and relaxing: the perfect defence-splitting pass from Noble to set up Arnautovic, the bullying multi-pass battering for his second and Fredrick’s little chip and finish to round it all off.
Yes, highly satisfying.

From where I was sitting I thought they deserved a penalty, and could not understand why it was not given. Having watched Match of the Day it was clearly not a penalty but a foul on Fredericks. So well done the ref

It was a classic end of season game.
They sat Redmond & Ward-Prowse on the bench & Rice & Anderson’s mums kept them home with the sniffles.
Disappointed we didn’t take the chance to give Nathan Holland a game & he could have replaced Diangana in the second half.

Iron Duke, I said the same yesterday said it was an odd game and we were shit after half time, got sagged off for it and accused of not being happy we'd won by three.
I was, it was just the way I saw the game.

It was a bit of a strange match, played like a training session at times. Neither team could really give a fuck, with Southampton being more shit than us.
A cracking through ball from Noble for the first goal. For the first 20 minutes of the second half we were shit and almost let them back in the game. The game changed again when Wilshere came on and the second goal killed them off.

All the goals he gave went in the net so that was a step forward.
He wasn’t noticeable (which is what you want from a ref) & his Lino’s didn’t embarrass him so it was a major improvement from the last few weeks.
The general standard of refs is very poor but they don’t get much help from cheating players.
Won’t change when cheats like Fabinho win games via that cheating and nothing is done.

I thought the 2 full backs were once again excellent, Masuaku on the ball was ridiculous, when he plays like that he looks the real deal, it's just the defensive lapses that do for him long term.
Fredericks I think is worth persevering with, obviously the pace is a huge weapon at both ends of the pitch, he's not great on the ball at times but he looks like someone who will get better, even though he's not a spring chicken. He's improving defensively, and he must have made 4 goal saving last second challenges recently with that recovery pace.
Noble was sublime in the middle of the park, and although he's going under the radar compared to others, we have got a serious player in Balbuena, his reading of the game is magnificent, and he brings the best out in Diop. We look a different team with those 2, hopefully we never see DOGbonna in the shirt again.

I think you’ll find they just aren’t any good
They have two decent players ... Ward-Prowse & Redmond .. & decided to start them on the bench.
We didn’t have two of our best players this season in Rice & Anderson but won comfortably.
Very much an end of season game but will take 3-0 any day of the week.
Hopefully we can finish off with a win at Watford while their minds are on the FA Cup Final & then get on with improving the squad for next season.
See Maxi Gomez scored in a win over Barcelona yesterday (Barcelona having rested all their stars having already won the league).

Decent atmosphere in 113 today, few dopes left with 20 minutes to go so they could get to Wembley to watch the ladies. Not sure what to make of that.
Wilshere and Sanchez both looked decent when they came on.
And to top off a good afternoon I put spurs to win on my acca but they’d just kicked off so their game was void and then the cunts lost
