Well, if he never plays centrally, then yes you'll probably be right.
Watch his goals for us, most of them he is centrally positioned - he doesn't have many where he's started out wide, then cuts in.
I just think it would be worth having a go changing his position. At the moment, because he tracks back more he's just not being a threat.
I just want to see me the man banging them in like he did last year.

I can guarantee you a few things:
Anderson never play through the middle
He’ll never score more goals than PDC
He won’t even make double figures this season.

Di Canio scored less goals in more games.
Anderson could be deployed as a deep lying forward.
If teams were willing to give Di Canio a role centrally, then there isn't a massive difference in giving Anderson a chance. Especially as Anderson had scored more goals, in less games.
We're both not going budge, so leave it at that you argumentative fucker!

Paolo different Gravy to Anderson!
The game is slightly different these days and the work rate of “attacking” players has changed and I’m not sure how’d he adapt tracking back etc but of his time, he was a genius!

Anyone with even partial eyesight who’s seen both play (West Ham fans largely) will tell you the truth.
To even try & compare the two is retarded.
By the age of 26 PDC had the following medals:

You only have to look at the teams Di Canio player in and against to realise how much better Serie A was then.
And still Anderson’s best season is comparable with PDCs worst over here.
To compare the two in terms of goals is laughable.

In 184 games 20 odd played for a team outside serie A, Di Canio scored 23 goals.
In 137 games, all in Serie A Anderson scored 25 goals.

Di Canio cut his teeth in Serie A.
Anderson in Brazil. Anderson had played lots more games by 26 because PDC was fighting for a place at lazio, Napoli, Juventus & Milan when Serie A was the best league around. Di Canio has the better strike rate, and is by a distance the better finisher.
Anderson has never been & never will be a striker.
