No, that's not what I am saying.
I made a bloody simply point that I am finding it harder to defend Haller because I defended him based on the fact that he was isolated and had fuck all service.
But now, as he is not as isolated as he was under MP, and against Sheff Utd and Everton he was provided with two good chances in each game, its harder to defend him.
Its not rocket science.

No. That is not what I am saying. But obviously if we take all of our chances we will stay up. But that's never going to happen and not what I was saying.
It was just a point that I made which is that I am finding it more difficult to defend Haller for being isolated and not given any service; as under Moyes, especially in the last two games, he hasn't been so isolated and has had chances created for him. Which had he taken we win both games.

Lanzini was anonymous the whole game, V son.
Haller looked OK in parts, but he strikes me as a typical arrogant grumpy French cunt and not really willing to put the work in when things are difficult.
The fact you think it was our best first half of the season says a lot. We were average, very average.
I think we'll survive, just. Only because Bournemouth, Norwich and Villa are even worse than us.

Why would I be? Surely there's acknowledgement on here that Everton couldn't get going in that first half. We pressured their possession really well and that came from the front. In terms of created xG it was our best first half of the season so far.
The second half was disappointing for sure but let's take the positives.

I rewatched the first half at lunchtime and Lanzini and Haller worked really hard to pressure Everton in possession, I thought both did really well.

Whilst we did okay first half, second half was pathetic.
Lanzini was absolutely dreadful, as was Haller - both showed a complete lack of effort.
Only positive, for me, is that we looked relatively solid - Zabaleta doing well in Frederick's absence. But I think we'll go down, I just don't see us winning the games necessary.

Based on his record the odds are that he will. For me the concern isn't Haller at all, but it might be the lack of other goal threat from our other attackers. The 'too many cooks' imbalance. We need Antonio and Yarmolenko back in and around the side.

It is a good sign. I agree. He is getting more chances under Moyes than he ever did with MP as manager. But you must agree that we aren't really in a position to have our main striker go on a bit of a drought. Be it whether is just unlucky at the moment or not. He has got to start banging them in sharpish.
