yep. Can't believe he wasn't warned. Several times our players received the ball on the touchline and Arteta was the closest person to them. Stood on the line all game breathing down the players necks. Can't believe Moyes didn't complain to be honest. Naive from him. Klopp and Guardiola wouldn;t have that bollocks.

Bit concerned as apparently the other massive cheat Moss is joining Dean in a role involving training of refs, let the corruption be extended in all directions!

Like others I am sick and weary of the so called big six getting away with murder. Who are currently top six of the premiership, which teams are in the cup final and how fortunate that the big six were kept apart until the semi finals! It stinks, I was one of several who said the big six should have been kicked out at the very beginning but of course money rules.

What sick deal did the ruling authorities do to talk this lot into remaining, we know for example there is talk of two extra places being given for entry into the European Championships for those clubs with a 'history' of playing European football. Absolutely sick, I will revert to watching my local team playing on the Rec if this corruption continues.

If you think about it. When comparing to last season and in terms of who actually plays on a regular basis, we added Zouma and lost Lingard. A net change of zilch.

How we have managed to get to a Europa semi final and ending up 7th or 8th is a stunning achievement in many ways. Not when you think we had it all to play for at Xmas but when you think of it in terms of players we have used or deemed good enough for the first 11.

While Sullivan is at the helm, there is no better manager than Moyes. He will manage to make a silk purse from a sow's ear that already resembles a piece of swiss cheese :-)

Kostic off at half time
3 half time subs
Obviously a selection shambles with the manager not knowing if he is Adolf or Eva

Normally we have at least 5 players good in the air - two center backs, Rice, Antonio, and Soucek.. Having only Rice and Zouma hurt us as both goals were headers in close. In hindsight Moyes must regret that as usually we are a real threat in the air and it turned into a weakness on Sunday..

Eddie Nketiah would be great on a free... Backup for Antonio and someone opposite Bowen out wide as competition..

Has to be said also that Flappy should have done better on the 2nd goal.

Getting Areola in is imperative.

We should all know what the score is by now...

The Europa League run has been a joyride but if we had gone out early there is no way we would have lost to Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal with a fully fit squad that wasn't completely knackered.

I don't know what will happen in the summer but we need at least half a dozen decent first team players - if they are all ready to play then it will probably be more useful than the 6 bit-part players we are going to lose.

It still leaves us short though...

Areola
Milenkovic/Worral/Carleta-Car/Hickey?
Lingard
Belotti

What would help the game is if the captain can request a VAR review, as they do in Cricket.

Thought Arteta was playing yesterday, spent more time out of his marked area then in it, yet not once did Dean or 5he fourth official have a word.
Think it’s time we pushed for a “ big seven” I dread of a big six, then we’ll start getting favours from the league and officials.

Its exactly the same that happened to Lanzini he got banned for "diving" because he was trying to avoid a leg breaking tackle. The intent to do him harm was the same from the Burnley player as it was from Ramsdale. The vile cunt Arteta has instilled this horrible ethos to allow average players to get away with time wasting and heavy tackles. He himself deliberately walked in front of a player trying to retrieve a ball for a throw in. Whenever a referee makes a decision against him he and his bench are up intimidating the fourth official. He was aided and abetted by piss poor officials who allowed his thugs to get away with it.

Why didn't MOTD last night discuss the Bowen incident with the way it was shown Joe public would have thought that the yellow card was for Ramsdale.
The constant biased towards the so called big clubs makes a mockery of the game.
Hopefully in my time the super league comes into fruition and we'll see the back of this corrupt league.
Liverpool now 47 games since a penalty has been awarded against them disgusting

13 Brentford road 3 21 . Spot on fella I was thinking that myself couldn't believe Bowen accepted it so well .if it happened to one of them. they to a man would have surrounded Dean. were too nice and it's killing us .

That Bowen booking was at best very poor judgement and at worst crooked. As mentioned, a ‘big club’ decision through and through and roles reversed that goes in the outfield player’s favour. VAR does nothing to help address poor decisions if the human in charge of it makes the decision not to review something that really should be.

Farce.

and the Bowen incident,

even with the replay i thought there was contact. Dean was 40 yards behind th play. No referral to tjhe lino, no VAR. Made his mind up pretty quick - uneal!

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Arsenal - Official Match Thread FT 1-2
just watching the highlights back ,

Lanzini was left marking Holding - joke, hes a midget and Holding must be 6'.

there was a bit of a mix up to confuse things but shurley something any defence is used to dealing with.

You know VAR is just another way to fix it for the "big 6" when they don't even bother checking their dubious decisions but always seem to spot and check the likes of ours.

BYW. It looks like we are a 50-60 point club under Moyes and his team. Its possible that’s the limit of his abilities. Certainly the limit of the owners.

I think one more year to see how it pans out and then if we have the new owner we either crash and die or pick up an extra 10-15 points. Gonna need loads of money though.
