To be fair l only just watched the highlights of palace Fulham ,and the OP is right , that sending off of Tompkins is probably the worst ever , players need to get street wise on this cheat !

Good player and we should have signed him when we (and everybody else) were offered him for a knock-down price after Fulham were relegated.
He's one of those players like Bellamy - winds-up opposition sides and fans - but when he's playing for you it's a different matter.
He's a big, strong fucker who is a little better technically than people give him credit for - and he is a good finisher (in an otherwise poor side that don't create many chances).
We should have signed him as the alternative to Antonio a couple of years ago. But that chance passed because he hadn't scored many at the time for a Fulham side which parked the bus (and barely attacked) all season.
All ifs, buts and maybes...but I personally think he would have done well here before Moyes' tactics were rumbled.
