RIP.
Party Fears Two was a classic track, but also those early Associates records like White Car in Germany, Tell Me Easter’s on a Friday etc. were decent.
Great live band too. Caught them at the Dominion in Tottenham Court Road on one early 80s tour.

Breakfast was a great track, although the Associates was pretty much a solo venture for Billy McKenzie at that time and Rankine didn't play on it. Another haunting one of theirs he did play on was No, probably my favourite of theirs.

All these recent deaths of people that were part of my youth are making me feel old. Party Fears is a classic....RIP Alan and thanks for that great track
