Freebird and Sweet Home Alabama are classics, but they had several decent tunes that most radio stations never play. Underrated band.

torinohammer 6.48 Six of us got through almost 200 blues during that 48hours... I recall coming back into some recognisable sort of life orbit by the following Tuesday afternoon...

I was also at Knebworth 76 but got pissed off waiting for the Stones so fucked off about an hour after the 10cc gig.
Seem to remember someone running naked onto the stage and knocking one out...

Of course, opinions differ...

What we got what LS at the top of their game, then the Stones at the very arse end of some heavy touring (plus Keef away with the Heroin Fairies, IIRC).
And all this overlooks 10cc, who were brilliant, despite taking hours to mike everything up so they could record what turned out to be their last proper show together as a foursome...

Free Bird is one of those songs that you always remember where you were when you first heard it.

Saw them upstage the Stones at Knebworth many years ago.
Twelve months later, most of them were dead...

He's as Free as a Bird now
RIP
Apparently that record is the most requested song for for an encore at concerts, even when Skynyrd are not playing.
