I never understodd why he got such a hard time while playing for us.
I know he's upset people with a few opinions since he left, but West Ham fans have given him stick too. People are a bit too thin skinned.
Won't happen though.

Denmark, for my mind it's not so much his past that would set me against the move, it's more the fact he would never come back here. What can we offer that other clubs who're much can't?
He's been the panto villan for a while because of idiotic comments, but time to ignore him.

Someone on the radio said last weekend, that Man Utd would bite their hand off, if he was offered at 8-10 mill.
We wouldn't pay that sort of money either.

I heard the other night that he would consider this as Chelsea will not sell him to a PL club that are contenders to them. He also wants to stay in London as he is settled there and his fiancee lives here so that rules out a move abroad. All depends if we go up of course and if we would pay the wage he is looking for ?
I would have him back. Anyone who would not have a scoring midfielder who could get us 10 goals a season is a complete idiot and probably aged between 12 - 25

Lampard is on 130k week i believe so it won't happen. I think he could do us proud for 2 years with 10-15 goals a year. He could compliment Nolan as he is more a box to box midfielder. He is far to spoilt and proud to come back IMO.

Wouldn't take any rumours linking us with ex West Ham especially Lampard. Firstly he'd have options throughout the top flight of football should he leave Chelsea, and secondly the damage is done with us and him. No turning back, no making up.

You didn't say that Tipzzz, but I guessed that in order to make such a statement you would at least put some context around it as a striker who played four times and scored once at international level could not possibly big up their ratio.
Has Cole really not got 1 in 4? In fact I just checked and taking wikipedia at face value he I'd pretty much bang on 1 in 4.

Have you trouble reading, or are you just looking for a row? I suspect, that as usual, it's the latter.
Where did I say that England had strikers that had played ca 100 games, with a less that 1 in 4 record? All I said, was that we have had strikers with a worse record than 1 in 4.
A decent England striker that had less than that was Sheringham. OK?
West Ham? God, take your choice, but start with Cole and Picq, if you like. You can the go back and look them up, but I bet there are a lot.

Tipzzzz - Given that it's fact that we and England have both had strikers who have played circa 100 games and had a 1 in 4 goal record then it won't take you long to name some. As you've said fact then I assume you already have some to hand.
Oh and if we are talking about starting a row, you wading in to the thread making stuff up and then deliberately misinterpreting what I said to try and score points is hardly the work of the forum pacifist is it?
