Trains to Portsmouth Saturday

A Large group of us have not booked tickets for the Train to Portsmouth Saturday. We are going from Victoria and buying tickets on the day. Is this a wise move, or shall we book??

Takes 2 hours from Victoria, just looked it up.
Ideally, I'd like to get down there early doors.

9am train from Waterloo gets into Portsmouth & Southsea at 11.02, so perfect time to find a pub.

My train leaves tomorrow from Victoria at 11.02 well up for this one, we are going top after saturday's game.

I got a groupsave on the south west trains website yesterday. £21.70 each from waterloo on the 10am but as mentioned, takes just over 2 hours now the cunts. Plenty of drinking time though :)
