Not going to argue Joey, all about opinions and all that - but to me with Jones stepping out Dawson is about as good an option as we have as a stopper sitting back, not quite a sweeper but something akin to what Barcelona do with a four man defence becoming three on attacking.
Dawson makes less mistakes than Jagielka for me, and I've never been convinced about Lescott. I make him ahead of Terry on form over the last couple of seasons, even without the Anton fuss taken into the equation.

Dawson is nowhere near good enough,
No pace what-so-ever, and is porr in reading the da,e, hence why it is all last ditch defending with him.

Plenty of options formation-wise. Personally I like the idea of Parker and Wilshere deep in a 4-2-3-1, with Rooney just behind Wellbeck, Gerrard and Young wide but the three swapping throughout the game. Walcott is not up to it at the top level, and Oxlade-Chamberlain is still a million miles away.

Sturridge is a prospect. He just looks and seems like a right arrogant bastard.
Welbeck is a good player. would walk into a fair amount of teams in the prem and championship.
