I think this kid will be alright.
He is still young, moved to a new place. As long has he shuts down Twitter (which I think all players and owners should do, but thats for a different post) he should be fine.

I don't take too much notice of youtube clips of players because as we know you could make pretty much any player look good.
What it does show though is that he has two strong feet and is comfortable passing and shooting with either. Which even at prem level is rare.

I support West Ham.
I believe it is in West Hams best interests to have a player with the rumoured talent of Morrison in the team and the best way to get that is to get behind the lad.
I also believe it is in the best interests of the club to be winning by playing good attractive football. That is why I commend the manager we have for ghetting us where we are but criticise him for the way we are going about it.

Absolutely spot on - again!
You've certainly put those Zola-hating, Grant-loving dark days behind you Mr P.

'Some people really need to look at themselves and find out what the definition of supporter is'
I'll give you a clue, it's not slagging off the manager who is doing exactly what he has been asked to do.
Idiot.

I agree with you Polite, and I have argued his case before.
My point is that he needs to start thinking before he puts things like that out because it won't endear him to the (sadly large) section of our support that you mention.

If the shoe was on the other foot and one of ours said "My heart will always be with West Ham" we'd love it.

Who cares if his 'heart is with United'?
A young lad who has grown up at and probably supports Man Utd and has received lots of tweets from fans wishing him well, sounds like a perfectly nice and polite reply.
As for his off field antics, let's not judge just yet aye? He hasn't got up to anything yet so let's give the lad a chance. If what everyone is saying about his talent is true then we could have one of the best talents in a generation with us but rather than heap pressure on the lad how about we just get behind him and give that talent the best chance of showing itself.
Some people really need to look at themselves and find out what the definition of supporter is.

What he actually tweeted was
"my heart will always be @ united but I just wanted to play football and that's what everyone needs to understand"
Which is a bit different to his heart being in Manchester.
He's really not helping himself with tweets like that.

GOM no problem with that at all - he's 18 and living away from home for the first time...i think BFS will protect him and get him back in the groove

He needs rapid ego deflation if he's going to make it in football/life.

A little bit off of subject, but Ravel tweeted earlier today, that his heart was still in Manchester. That people needed to understand that he needed to get away to play football.
Not really bothered about that, but he really is asking for trouble tweeting it, doesn't exactly endear himself to his new fans does it.
I read on another thread, somebody really needs to take him under their arm and look after this kid, I totally agree or I fear the worse for what could be a real talent by all accounts.

Big Sam hasn't got to breast feed him, as long as he doesn't murder or rape anyone who gives a fuck who he calls a "faggot" etc.
Let him get on the pitch before his OWN FANS turn against him.
