For someone who was drunk, I'm surprised with the use of ê here.

Effort.

Eddie B, were you even at the game? I was quite impressed with his performance. Not always champagne football, but, it was good to see him taking on their defence.

I think he played well.

He's no better than Baldock as a striker but he does a better job out wide than Baldock. He quick, has the ability to beat a player but also defends well when required.

"He done ok but he is no better than Baldock... Strange signing."

Er, in response to that, I would just say that on Talksport yesterday Sam was saying in March and April we have 15 games.

So, not a strange signing for me, a very astute one. You may think he is no better than Baldock, that's your opinion, but so what. He has not been bought to replace Baldock has he?

We are going to need at least 4 fit strikers for those two months.

Re: Ricardo Vaz Tê
I thought he worked hard and was intelligent with the ball , he offers a bit of flair and looks a bargain to me . It is a shame we were reduced to 10 men ,he was causing problems and still did in the first half when we were down to 10. He also defended well in the 2 nd we were obviously going to be under pressure.
This thread is a fishing trip?

Did well for my money. He was nothing like the dogshit player I remember at Bolton. Definitely adds something.

Still, no hat-trick on his debut, so BOOOOOOO.

I thought Vaz Te looked pretty useful, offers a lot more than Picquionne would love to see him get a chance further forward

Good pushing forward, good eye for an opportunity.
Goes to ground to easy and commits himself too much in defence.

So basically.....an attacker.

Re: Ricardo Vaz Tê
Looked like exactly the sort of player we've been crying out for, specially when Taylor was on the pitch on the left.

Bit mystified why Edgar's digging him out really?

Ripped us to shreds is what Ipswich did

We matched Southampton even with 10 men
