My understanding of the loan rules, and admittedly they are pretty convoluted, is that Montano could come back after the Watford and Cardiff games, but to be honest I do worry about him. Shame as he was very much the next big thing according to some (including 'WHUTV') fairly recently, but after not sticking at any one loan club - albeit he's back at M Notts County now - plus Di Canio's comments about being unconvinced by his attitude, and the rumours about him not being prepared to stay back at the club and fight/wait for a chance, doesn't necessarily bode well. More importantly though, the club seem to have had a few good looks at him now in between loans and for one reason or another other youth players (Hall) or seemingly forgotten men (Nouble) have been given squad places and appearances that he hasn't. Still, hope I'm wrong. But even with the games we have coming up, I can't see the club deciding too much has changed to justify another recall almost certainly followed by tweet another loan, especially if he has found a club, in NC, where both parties feel he can develop.
To come back to him, did Nouble go anywhere in the end? If bit, while he's not as promising, I can see him competently covering the amount of game time Hall would have been looking at over the next few months.
Personally I think O'Neil is going to prove crucial as wide players go as the end of the season gets ever closer.

West Ham youngster full of potential gets serious injury.
THIS IS A REAL SHOCK.
They may as well just have someone standing with a rifle to blow one of their legs to bits as soon as they sign their first contract.

Shame. Thought he might go out on loan agai, as playing time will be extremely limited or non exsistant for the remainder of the season.
Here's to a full recovery.

I've had 3 cartilage operations, so got a bit of experience here - he'd probably be training again by 4 weeks, not sure if it feels fully healed at that stage though. Maybe they've decided to let him rest it and take a bit longer?
I rushed myself after my first op, and tore a cartilage again.

He's talented hopefully he will bounce back, lives near me in Aylesbury and looks sharp, hopefully we don't release him when he comes back because I see something in him
