Leatherhead - I think you'll find they're on a nice "little something on the side" for every time they mention one of the big teams - maybe a nosh off the manager or something.
It was more noticeable when we were in the premiership (naturally), and also early FA Cup games where the commentator would try to engineer in a phrase like "Oh how would it add to the romance of the cup if (insert name of minnow here) were to win (5-0 down at the time) and be drawn against the great (insert top 4 team's name here)).
Or you'd get a low-mid table game between, say Aston Villa and Wigan and they'd try to find a connection between the game and the team that has "Manchester" in their name but are not owned by Arabs.
Post96ers put that down as good commentating.

That Lewis Dunk at the back for Brighton is a dreadful player. Think he was the one that lost the ball for Nolan's goal when we won there. No touch at all and scored a hilarious og by juggling it in from 5 yds. Needs to be targeted when we play them next.

They need to do something - I couldn't find a single FA Cup game on any of the 100 or so Asian channels I get here in Bangkok - that's a huge section of the market...sorry...world lacking some sort of football to tail-end the adverts.
All Premiership semis is obviously this year's FA marketing department's holy grail...

I thought that Wilson looked a proper player today, never fazed or out of his depth, decent pace and strength and a good passer.
He could probably play at champs level or higher.
