cheapest way of borrowing 3k

havent had a loan for years and looking online there appears to be high apr these days....i thought it would be the opposite....want to buy a vespa on ebay...would a money transfer on a credit card be a cheaper way of borrowing?

do you need this vespa or is it just something you want
if you don't need it wait till you can afford it
any debt should be avoided unless absolutely nescessary imo

March into the branch of a high street bank with at least one mate, both of you with masks/balaclavas/stocking on your heads and high powered firearms in your hands. Demand that the staff fill bags up with moeny and give them to you. Once they hand over the cash flee
This method will only work if you have a 3rd friend right outside in a fast car who's enginge is running.
if everthing goes right you will have a large amount of cash that should exceed £3000 and unlike normal "borrowing" you don't have to pay it back

Not what you wanted to hear at al. But good advice from shasta to be fair.......
Why don't you save for a year and buy cash for next? That way you can really look about and know a good deal when you see oe. If you want to go on one of those mid life crists biker rides then can't you rent one for the weekend?

Or take the view that if you need a loan you can't afford the Vespa right now so save for it rather than increasing your personal debt, just a thought.
