Watched the first episode last night and I am most definitely IN.
Great pacing, great acting and Morena Baccarin would get it, oh yes.

The Big letters at the top of the post should give it away that if you read further, you might get it spoiled for you....If you continue to read AFTER reading "DONT READ THIS!!!!!!" you can hardly say it was unexpected.

I don't see the point in posting possible spoilers to overcome someone's prejudice towards a program.
Fuck him, if he wants to miss out on a decent TV show then that's his lookout.
But don't risk ruining it for others.

I thought the show was quite "Anti-American" regarding the foreign policy aspect.
Its showed indiscriminate bombing of civilian children, it showed the inner turmoil that the Lead faces regarding what he has seen and been through and that was done very carefully.
Is this about terrorists blowing up Civilian buildings? No, its about one mans revenge on the "Button Man" who authoirsed his sons death. I felt quite sorry for the "Bad guy" and fully understand his motivation for wanting that man and his subordinates dead and using what ever means to achieve it.
No one need be "offended" by what has been shown so far.

I, want, that, one... I didn't mind the ending. I won't go into too much detail though till the UK has caught up.
And I don't really think you could call this American propaganda... it is quite critical of their methods.

I take it you haven't seen "Arlington Road" then. Cracking thriller, where the terrorists are white, Christian Americans.

How can you think Damien Lewis is awful in this? It's a magnificent performance in an enthralling series. Last Sunday's was a real shocker of an episode. Didn't see that coming at all....still think he is though!
