Official Pancake Day Thread

Best ways of making them and also what to have with them here. I'll be making some for Breakfast in 2 minutes and will have some for 'afters' later this evening.
Sugar and Lemon for me. Can't beat it.
For the pancake mixture
110g/4oz plain flour, sifted
pinch of salt
2 eggs
200ml/7fl oz milk mixed with 75ml/3fl oz water
50g/2oz butter

Mrs ted is having pancakes,i've treated my self to Ribeye with a jacket,mushroms,onion and garlic butter.
Did'nt feel like tossing tonight.

As After8 would say.....dont knock it til you have tried it.
Its gorgeous, was brought up with them as a savoury so lemon and sugar on them feels weird to me.

Bog Standard Lemon and Sugar for me.
Maybe a bit of Golden Syrup or Ice Cream to boot.

Always make my own, same recipe as original thread but no butter (only in the pan)
Maple syrup or bananas for me.

Superb recipe there Josh.
Nuts, berries and fruit are excellent. I like to use a handblender on the above and use it like a sauce on my pancakes.
By the way if you can make pancakes its not much harder to make chipatis or soda bread! Much better than the shop bought crap for sure.

Put sugar in your Tea and lemon in your G&T and cover your pancakes is something nice.
