Yeah, no more than 2000 (still excellent turn out\\0 and to be fair the home fans were pretty loud at times. Obviously that ceased once they couldn't score their second but seen the same at our place.

Just like the Dynamo Tblisi game I think last night's game will be remembered for a long long time.
Absolutely magnificent and that was only listening to Radio Commentary

I've seen some magnificent away performances and results over the years but last night's result and performance has to be up there with the best of them.
Bearing in mind the circumstances, we could quite easily have folded and an 'Ipswich' style result could have ensued. However, our team didn't just merely dig in or hold on, but we totally outclassed and outplayed them. There wasn't any sign of a 'hoof'ball as we soaked up their pressure and then skilfully hit them on the break. Every single player in our colours last night were exemplary, particularly Maynard who ran all night long, and Vaz Te, who held on to the ball extremely well and went on many mazy runs.
As for Lansbury, well, I'd read previously that he was 'quite good' in goal, but his handling and kicking were exemplary and would give many a League 1 or 2 keeper a run for their money.

I think Nolan is " guaranteed " his place as soon as is available but still reeling from last night's result.

Brilliant night at Bloomfoeld Road Blackpool. The Hammers support was incredible and we completely out sang the Seagulls support. The first half West Ham dominated and we played with incredible enthusiasm roared on continuously by probably 4000 away supporters. Some of whom had spendt several days at local hotels prior to the game. We met West Ham supporters who had travelled from Edinburgh / Crewe / Newcastle and Liverpool just for this game.
What terrific loyalty !!!
ON this form and with this level skill and enthusiasm we WILL win this League...COME ON you Irons

It's an interesting one, Ted.
Playing to the strengths of nolan and Carlton has got us to the top of the league. Playing without their limitations provided us with the best performance of the season.
Nice problem to have for the manager. Carlton is borderline for me, but with nolan, I can't see that he gets in our best side. A spell on the bench might work for him. Either way, lovely to have options.
