Billy Blagg.

I think, but I could be wrong, it was for a terrible tackle, last ditch and all that. It was completely out of character and should have been instanly recinded, the ref made to apologise to Lord Bobby, and the game awared to us and Man City fined at least 25M.

Following Mr Bollox's post can anyone remind me what Moore got sent off for? I assume it was the only time in his career?

When was the last time we won with only 10 men prior to the Millwall game?

When was the last time we won away with 10 men?

When was the last time we had three players all score their first goals for the club in the same game?

Harry Redknapp was sent off against Leeds and five years earlier Bobby Moore was sent off against Man City In between, in all that time West Ham had three (3) players booked

Cheezy, I was there too and Ian Wright swang an arm at a Leeds player to be sent off. I saw it and said to my mate "Wright's off", as play continued, as it was very near the Lino who then waved his flag. Wright then trashed the referees room just off the tunnel and we ended the game with 8 men. I think one more off would have had the game abandoned!

That was the game where Wrighty smashed up the ref's dressing room. We conceded 5 at home to Leeds, 4 at home to Wimbledon, Sheffield Wed, Arsenal, 6 away to Everton, and still came fifth.

Can't find anything suggesting that this has happened to us before.

When was the last time a team got 7 points in 3 consecutive games, having a player sent off in each game.

Must be some kind of record

Wright , Hislop , Lomas were the 3 players sent off when we lost 1-5 to Leeds in 1999

We have been playing every game this season with 10 men.

Hopefully Sam will now stop sticking my Nolan after the last few displays

Harris was a shit ref.. He also fucked up when he let a red carded player be subbed. Think it was a Tranmere game.

I was at the Leeds game.. Ian Wright was sent off right in front of me. He collided with an opponent accidentally and he did a Billy Sharp and got him sent off. Lomas was another, but the third escapes me.

I just remember being so angry at this twat for ruining our chances.

Re: When was the last time West Ham had players sent off in 3 or more consecutive matches.
Wasn't there a game against dirty Leeds a few years back when Rob Harris sent about 3 of our lads off?

Maybe my memorys playing tricks!

In a way its a good thing because it shows a "Will to win" spirit, which is good, compared with some of the spineless efforts in the past

That needs to be blended with a lot more discipline though ~ We surely can't win this league playing with10 men every week

Or maybe we can!
