Portsmouth may not be able to play all their remaining fixtures
Don't know where this would leave us as results would be void I believe?

Portsmouth may not have enough money to finish season
Portsmouth administrator Trevor Birch has admitted the club may not have enough money to see out the season.

Birch addressed fans for an hour at Fratton Park on Wednesday, a day when 33 members of staff were made redundant.

However, he says he was left with little choice but to make cuts as he tries to ensure the club's remaining money lasts as long as possible.

"We are struggling to make the end of the season," Birch told BBC Solent.

Also the FA are the governing body for football in England, didn't put that on the last post.

The Football League is self goverend, my mistake.

But, I think we both agree something needs to change to safeguard the clubs when foreign investors take control of any club.

"The FA are the governing body of football"

Actually FIFA are Bolty

But I doubt there is little the FA would/could do that the PL and FL don't do already.

The bloke lied, simple as that

KIA - The FA are the governing body of football, tehy need to get involved with these right and proper tests.

Of course there will be times where people pass these tests as the should, but a lot more can be done to stop the likes of Pompey going into administration twice within the last few years.

"Reading back, it's agreed that the PL and Football leagues are run by the FA?"

No because neither are run by the FA

"Who are the ones that do these fit and proper checks on investors? Which obviously means the FA are failing it's clubs. If these checks were done properly, we wouldn't have clubs facing bankruptcy. "

The fit and proper checks are done by the PL and FL.

When West Ham got taken over by the Icelandics, they passed the test without a problem and rightly so. In the case of Portsmouth, they were lied to.

Haha

If your stupid post had been aimed at me you might have a point, it's clear from this and other threads you're a little simple when it comes to football.

I mean what "West Ham" fan doesn't know you can't loan players from the same league.

Still I did chuckle at your Tevez senario, funny as fuck.

Not about scoring points, just really surprised someone doesn't know something so basic about football.

No wonder you actually thourght they might decide the fate of the league in the event of Portsmouth going bust by guessing results.

I'm quite comfortable admitting that I don't know a lot of things, kia, even more so in admitting that my life doesn't revolve around "scoring points" against somebody I don't, and never will, know, on a trivial internet forum.

"Are loans within leagues actually permissible? If so you'd get all the big clubs with large squads loaning good players out to opponents of their nearest rivals."

Haha are you for realy? Do you really not know you can loan players to clubs in the same league??

Did you not know Jordan Spence was on loan to CHAMPIONSHIP side Bristol City??

"If the worst came to the worst I am sure Gold & Sullivan would loan/give them 500k just to help them through to the end of the season."

Gold suggested that a couple of seasons ago, of course that's not allowed BUT we could take players off them either on loan or buy them, the later subject to FL approval.

Man City, for instance could loan Tevez out to Bolton for when Bolton Play Man United. The following month they could do the same, but this rime with Wigan and their game against Man United.
