Its that time of year again when everyone is going to be asking advice on holidays etc. etc. So i was just wondering if anyone has been to Morocco and if so:-
a) Is there much to do there apart from stay on your complex and the odd trip into the desert?
and
b) Is there the usual grief in the local towns, with women being hassled and getting pulled into shops?

I have been to Agadir and although it has a lovely sandy beach, I wouldn't recommend it. They pester the life out of you to buy things. I'm not a fan of anywhere in North Africa!

I'm going for a weeks Paragliding in Mirleft in November.
Its about an hour and half outside of Agadir and right on the coast. Heard good things and cant fucking wait.

Great place been twice, very colouful, loud, smelly, lots of music, art & good food, also very safe for tourists.
Nearest place you can go to sample a completely different culture!

Go to Ouarzazate or Gou;limine if you get the chance both fantastic desert towns with bags of character and superb food. The hotel we stayed at 3 years ago in Ouarzazate was £40 per night and would be the equivalent of about £2-300 in the UK.

You'll be needing to tie a pair of Arab Springs to your shoes. That way, if you get any hassle at the souks, you can release the catch and Zebedee all the way back to your hotel.

Been to Agadir, was alright, wouldn't rush back.
Can't be doing with the hassle you get in the souks etc.

HATRED went to Morocco, and decided to do a daily series of threads, Leonard Hatred in Morocco, Day 1 etc.
Best bit was Day 4, by which time he was bored, got the two bob bits and wanted to come home.
