Question regarding potential sacking
Don't fear, it isn't about me.

My mrs has had a formal meeting today with her director, basically she's been recently moved office where the office in question has been in dire straights for the last two years and making a loss each year, my firm have recently promoted a branch manager to "area manager", where he goes and oversees the offices who are struggling and help get them back on track.

My mrs had a argument with her director on the phone, in anger as she slammed the phone down she shouted "you fucking cunt", the guy who has been promoted who's an absolute jobs worth cunt reported it to her director, to which she's been called to a formal meeting and a discaplinary(sp).

Whilst she has admitted she's wrong, she has been moved and covered 6 offices in 3 years, had NO support from her director when she's needed it, the person who grassed her up has also told her to lie to clients if worst comes to worst, as well as the director previously had told her to put "suspect" mortgages through to boost her figures, not dodgy mortgages but deals that haven't been fully agreed etc. Also he's never really got on with her because she's not afraid to speak her mind where as everyone else just shuts up and puts up with it.

If she gets sacked, would she have any chance of taking them for unfair dismissal?

Or is she up shit street?

"Full and open apology"?

Why can't people just call a blow job a blow job?

Re: Question regarding potential sacking
1st offence? Thats some form of mitigation. Coupled with a full and open apology might be enough.

Nobody in this tale has acted professionally....which really just confirms the already poor reputation of real estate agents.

Set him up with some coke or even some weed. Shouldnt be too hard to plant it and get someone to "notice" it.

Re: Question regarding potential sacking
It was the latter.

She admitted it, and apologised.

Written warning slapped wrist and away you go. But she has to work within the same office as the bloke who grassed her up.

Who, I've also worked with previously and didn't have the best of working relationships with either.

Re: Question regarding potential sacking
Bolty, to clarify did her boss who she was speaking to over the phone hear her say "you fucking cunt", or was it just the guy who has been promoted who's an absolute jobs worth cunt who heard it?

Totally different situations there, the latter I would deny until they dropped it.

I don't belive this story for one second, Bolty has no missus.

But.... She simply needs to deny it ever happened and explain the person miss heard her.

This is the golden rule. Its there for a purpose I'm afraid.
