I've always been intrigued by the boo. The cheer and joyous shout comes almost naturally but the boo isn't a 'normal' sound in that you actively have to purse your lips and kind of blow out to issue it. Even on the worst of days - and I've seen a few - I doubt I've booed the team off. So, Palace were a bit tricky to break down - they have an excellent defensive record btw - and we looked a little short of puff today. Was is that bad? Strange...

Of course, Volley - but its never wise to get the media off side either - they've convinced most of the population that Lampard's not a massive cunt, for example. A powerful ally.

Possibly he treats the media with disdain and quite rightly so, all they ever want is to sensationalise a story and trip you up at every corner.

I definately think he's arrogant. It comes across that way when speaking to the media.
When you see him on the training ground he seems like a different person.
Perhaps its just a front.

Is that enough o slag off the history of one of the most famous clubs in the country? Not for me.
Just get on with the job. Its not difficult. He's actually making it difficult for himself because when we go through a bad patch, people will remember this and he'll be under unneccessary pressure.

In what way do you mean OM, that he hasn't won trophies?
I think if you asked his peers they would say he was a success due to having limited resources and achieving decent results in the Prem.

I struggle with his attitude in the media regarding us. Like he's doing us a favour being here and that he's bigger than the club. He's not and never will be. That said, he is doing a fantastic job, the job he was brought in to do. Keep it up.
Even if we win this league and then get into a Champions League spot next season, I would still struggle to still like the man. Not his managerial ability but the man himself.

No he hasn't got a right to slag off our history. Maybe he should look at his history as a manager and player before slagging off ours?
Or what he could do, and I know this is a bit 'out there' is remove his head from his own arse, and just get on with Managing the team.

OM I don't think he was trying to slag us off I think he was putting forward his view that us as supporters should be more realistic.
Ie the West Ham way - he has every right to say we have not played like that for years because he's fuckin right.
