Re: Parker's Captain
Au contraire, you're allowed to do as you please.

If people get off on a bit of hate that's their problem and I'd "hate" to spoil it for them.

Re: Parker's Captain
*sigh* so we're not even allowed to hate one of our biggest rivals anymore? Fuck me, what's the football world coming to.

All I can say is that he went with my blessing..................

Re: Parker's Captain
It's got to be said that either people use the word hate too lightly or there are some very sadly preoccupied people around that need to get out a bit, see the world and generally chill out.

Hate players, hate teams, hate refs yada yada yada.

try dislike instead it sits better and then all of your hate can be used for something sensible, not a poxy sport.

Re: Parker's Captain
Who's blamed him for leaving? He's just not some sort of saint for giving up his LOYALTY bonus at the last minute.

Re: Parker's Captain
I don't blame him for leaving, but am still allowed to dislike him now as he moved to the club i hate the most in the world.

Re: Parker's Captain
It would be nice if Parker actually moved more than 20 yards. I was there watching him, he hardly moves

Re: Parker's Captain
Thought he did well last night, and it was obvious how much it meant to him to be skippering the team in the anthem. Looking skywards and probably remembering his dad holding back tears.
Good on you Scotty. Good to see passion in the white shirt.

Hardly a Stirring Captain's performance this evening...

Pull your socks up Scotty...!!!

Re: Parker's Captain
I don't blame Parker for leaving at all, he had done more than enough to show he had outgrown us.

That said, I don't care one single fuck about him now, and as he is a yid I'd laugh if he gets injured and misses the euro's.

I don't think England would miss him at all.

Re: Parker's Captain
Parker was right to go to Spurs because they were up there competing for the title at one stage, will probably qualify for the Champions League and, tonight, he just captained his country against the World Cup runners-up.

Fucking hell, how hard is that to grasp?

I'd call him a cunt if he'd actually STAYED with us as he deserved better.

There you go, a bit of honesty. There is very little loyalty in football these days and I'm sure Ryan Giggs would have left Man Utd had they been shit.

Parker's decision to leave us has been more than justified, unfortunately.

He did BUT didn't want to

Re: Parker's Captain
Parker should be the leader in a year and a half. He normally gets 10 yellows a season. Unless Scholesy keeps on playing that is.
Kevin Nolan is on about 69 Premiership bookings, so one to watch

I'm sure he'll get to the top of that table if he eeps playing...

;=0)))

Re: Parker's Captain
But he did have another option and that was to stay at WHU on his generous contract that was no better than the one he settled for at Spurs.

Re: Parker's Captain
Oh I had Bowyer on 99 yellows, Parker on 93, and Kevin Davies as the centurion

Re: Parker's Captain
Lee Bowyer 101
Kevin Davies 100
Paul Scholes 90
Robbie Savage 89
Scott Parker 86

There you are. He still has quite a way to go.

I didn't claim you did did I?

Merely pointing out he was a bit of a cunt about the move and only gave up £1mish when he had no other option.

, 11:13 Wed Feb 29
Re: Parker's Captain
I did NOT claim it to be heroic did I?

No, I simply stated what he did to help facilitate the move.

Re: Parker's Captain
Not wrong at all BUT hardly an heroic act as he didn't do it until the last minute when Tottenham wouldn't pay the money we wanted.
