Sheffield United are the only ones I can really think of - I'd feel terrible for any other club.

boltkunt - you may have stumbled onto something here.
The powers that be would rather we participated in the 4 by 40 metre relay, long jump, lobbing pointed sticks or polo to "help build the nation's character" rather than sheepishly follow tribalistic football teams.
They'd have no problems with us sheepishly following what they thought was right for us, though, if there was a gong in it for them at the end of the day.
You can bet your last dollar when a large football club fails, there will be crocodile tears in parliament from the local MP, but the mood in the Strangers Bar will be "Thank fuck for that - 1 down, 91 left to go."

Spurs because of Levy & the way he acted over the OS. Chelsea because Abramovic is a cunt & so are most of their fans. Sheff U because Mcabe is a cunt, Blackburn because their owners are stupid cunts, Wigan because they don't have any fans & Wheelan is a cunt & also backed Mcabe!

As much as I have a loathing for several clubs I wouldn't like to see any go to the wall.
I would like to see the lower leagues restructured maybe back to North & South and a play off for promotion to the next level. Expecting Torquay to travel up to Carlisle etc is ridiculous in the current financial climate
