Green 7 - Not a great deal to do and had the woodwork to help out
McCartney 7 - "He's George McCartney, he scored when he wants"
Faye 8 MOTM - Great performanace from the beast, won almost everything
Tomkins 7 - Slotted back into the back four and done a fine job
O'Brien 7 - In really good form of late and this was another solid performance
Collison 6 - Just something missing still from his performances, pushed out wide again but this was a big improvement on last weekend
Lansbury 5 - Not sure what he offers really, shows form in small flashes but needs to offer much more
Nolan 6 - No idea what to make of him again really, awful in the first half and then scores a great goal with a superb finish. Improved 2nd half and got stuck in
Noble 8 - Another great performance in a growing list of great performances
Vaz Te 5 - Im sure there will be idiots branding him shit and it wasn't a good performance but his first poorish game in a West Ham shirt
Maynard 7 - Should have scored but really played well and paniced the Cardiff defenders
Cole 6 - Held the ball a bit but needs to offer more
O'Neil 5 - Ran around a bit and closed them down

thought maynard was worse than Vaz Te.
I really enjoy watching Faye, especially paired with Tomkins. I imagine he hits like a lead pipe. that centreback pairing would suffice in the Prem.

Well i like these threads and i like KIA doing them as he is fair.
even if i don't agree 100% with them all the time I can undertsand where he is coming from and I know he doesn't allow bias to effect him too much.

I can see why FM have gone with a decimal system suprised WHOers haven't moved over as of yet.
For example
Nolan 6.9
Cole 6.1
can fit any agenda extremely well. However you look at it. Nolan still gets a 6, a high six but still a six. Cole gets a low six the same mark as Nolan but its still a six.

6 for Nolan? I must have been watching a different game to you.
His great finish alone would have made him worthy of a 6, even if he'd done fuck all else. But his leadership was immense, he didn't give the ball away once to my memory, he played some really top balls in to create chances for Maynard and Vaz Te, and because of all of that he will have drawn in defenders and created more space for the likes of Maynard.
I thought he was excellent. 7 at the very least. Probably and 8 for me.

How anyone can think it was a deent game yesterday is beyond me. Shit game of football from 2 teams who could not pass, shoot. A game absolutely void of any quality whatsoever.
