Absolutely.
It's in OUR hands and we only need worry about what we're doing. If we win all our games, Reading and Southampton can't catch us.

Quality! But let's give Southampton or Reading the tin while getting our hands on the real silverware and going up with a bit of dignity!

"That's us third then and looking at the playoffs"
Idiots like Designated Slagger are just that idiots, I actually think these people think we are the only ones to lose points and games.

Can someone explain why we are under any more pressure than before? The target has been 2 points a game all season and for the most part we've been keeping to that goal. It was a clever idea of Sam's and keeps them all focused. Apart from that you should plan each game as it comes and play to the relevant strengths and weaknesses.

I'd expect 9 points from those games 85.
If we want to go up as champions its these sorts of games that we should be winning. Lets see if this team and strive under the pressure.

At the end of the day, teams around us are going to continue to pick up points, we're at the top end of the table.
However, we need to make sure we capitalise when they do drop 2 or 3 points, like Southampton last night... With Watford, Doncaster and a game in hand against Peterborough we have a marvelous chance to give ourselves a 4 point cushion now, and we have to take it.

I wouldn't worry about Portsmouth going bust.
I have a feeling there is plan B in that scenario. It would be interesting if we loan any Portsmouth players how much the loan fee will be. I reckon it would be just enough to get them to the end of the season.

I think Southampton drawing does put some pressure on us, because we have an opportunity to go top now and with the other game in hand, start to really make a push for it!
At this stage the pressure to win is always there, regardless of the teams around us. I doubt Sam will be appraching this any differently going on last nights results.

Actually I think this DOES put pressure on us. Despite the fuck wit nonces on here slagging people off.
This is fucking West Ham and you just know that with our luck Portsmouth will go tits up in the next couple of weeks and we are going to lose SIX (6) points. That's us third then and looking at the playoffs.
Cue fucking morons going on about how lovely a day out in Wembley will be.

Southampton failing to win means we could now go top with a game in hand. That's the only thing I took from last night and that's surely that's what the lads will now be focusing on?
I'd suggest anyone focusing on what's happening below us is a bit of a loser who won't amount to much in life. Well either that, or they're a strange and tedious individual who enjoys receiving abuse. A bit like those geezers who wear gimp masks and like fat birds walking on them in stillettos.

It's games like this one that means I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT!
I know in recent history we have continually failed when confronted with a 'must win' game but over my 35 years of supporting it hasn't all been like that.
Say what you like about big Sam and from time to time he will get his tactics wrong, he's only human, but one thing Sam's teams never lack is bottle and being up for the fight.
Nolan to score, absolutely fucking nailed on because he has the knack of scoring when we really need to.

Rubbish - tonights game no different to any other.
At the moment we really need to Win every game.
That's what you have to do to be Champions.

Baldock and Maynard up top could be excellent.
I'd like to see this in the next couple of games.

We could hammer them tonight.
We just need to go out and relax, play our game like we do in the away fixtures.
I get the feeling the team would rather play away at the moment.
We (US) as fans need to be patient and help the side... Our attitude plays a massive part in the teams performance.

I fancy us to thrash someone at Upton Park soon, tonight could be the night. West Ham -1 at 8/5 = printing money

Surely the points Reading got last will be, excuse the pun, pointless....if Portsmouth go into admin and all points gained against them are rescinded?
