Time for Ravel Morrison?
I didn't see the game last night, but it sounded much the same problem as we have had all season - a serious lack of quality and composure in the final third.

We don't seem to carve a defence open that leaves a chance a striker can't miss, often enough. Rather we seem to hustle chances clumsily and scrap a goal.

Watching highlights of his Man Utd Youth Cup final performance (yeah i know - youtube clips)
he could well be the exact player to add that quality beyond midfield to attack. Someone who has the skill and technique to use the ball better than the wasteful lashes and clumsy shite
we seem to display so often.

As we are about to play a bottom 3 side at home, I can't think of a better opportunity to give him some minutes and see how he copes.

Its not a made up injury I was at the Dagenham game when he fell and landed awkward and he said after he thought he broke his back, came back against Fulham but felt his back after 20 minutes he is settled at the club and enjoying being here lets just let the kid come through in the same way a youth team player would hopefully he will have a full pre season and he can push on from that

Do you think it'll ever come out what has gone on about this fella? Signed him in January and then he promptly disappears. Hasn't been seen since March, and they then announce a mysterious back injury out of nowhere a couple of weeks back.

All very odd.

Re: Time for Ravel Morrison?
Yeh he will save us!

Let's get Luke chadwick, Ronnie Wallwork, Neil Mellor and Ritchie Humphries in too - if there is one fact in football it is the FACT that all kids that do well at youth football go on to be world beaters especially if the red tops bang on about them.

Morrison is so so so good even Alex Ferguson sold him.

Spot on.

Yes Morrison has not been tested in competition football but i bet he has the bollocks to grab the game by the scruff of the neck unlike cole collision etc

Re: Time for Ravel Morrison?
As it's play offs for us now, we might as well give him an opportunity. Maybe along with Robert Hall.

I'm fucking sick of Cole, Faubert, Collison and Carew.

Latest from some fella on twitter:

"Whu Latest: many have wondered what's happened with Morrison at the club. I can confirm there was no bust up but that Big Sam wanted to see more of him from the development squad. He is doing exceptionally well, however his chances for this season are slim as Sam wants to develop the talent he has and use him more regularly next season. We may see him but most likely won't anymore this campaign."

Joey Woodwork - He might just not work on Thursdays. Or maybe his mum is coming round at the weekend. Or possibly, he is just saying words he likes. In which case, circumnavigate.
