Agree, I think we are in trouble and that is not knee jerking either.
If you look at G&S record as owners in football for Brum and ourselves they have always back the manager with cash, no one can disagree with that but unfortunately there choices of managers over the years have been very poor.
It took them years and years to get Brum into the premiership despite spending good money and even then they kept yo yoing back and forth into the championship and back. Barry Fry, Trevor Francis and Alec McCleish all bad choices as managers. Avram Grant and Sam Allardyce again poor choices.

I'll tell you this fellas:
if you thought Lampard and Reo Coker got some grief....
imagine what this fat northern fucker is going to get if we meet him again in the Premier League in 2 years time when he's the manager of Bolton again.

Re: Allardyce will resign

matty,
He won't quit. He talks a good game but he knows what his reputation is in football. Failing to get a side with the highest wage bill by miles in the league promotion will knock him down even further. No premiership club will touch him. Fans of other clubs mock his style and would not accept him.
Allardyce knows he can't get a better club than us. We can only hope G& S see sense at the end of the season and sack him but financially they probably won't.
Worrying times ahead.

swindon , you have made some really good points, i still think he will go though purley because of the untold negativity next season if we start badly, as you have said this was our best chance

Allardyce aint going to walk. We are stuck with him for another season in the championship.
If he walks at the end of season after he has failed to get us promoted then he will be seen as a failure and will struggle to get another decent job and he knows that.
G&S won't sack him because we can't afford to pay him off.
Next season in the championship is going to be even harder. The wage bill will have to be cut and the likes of Green, Tomkin, Cole and possibly Noble will go. This season was our best possible chance of going up and it looks like we have blown it.
By the way there is no chance of Nolan leaving. He turns 30 in September and there is no way any other club will pick up the remaining 4 years on his contract at 50k a week.
You think there is a lot of negativity this season, wait till next season if we are still in the championship because its gonna get a whole lot worse.

Stirling - to an extent I agree with you. But I'm not convinced by the quality of the squad, 17 of which Allardyce has brought in (and others of which are the under-performers we couldn't sell after relegation).
Green, Tomkins, Noble, Taylor (when his calf isn't playing up). Nolan has been a massive disappointment but might, one day, turn up. Otherwise, I'm not convinced there's much quality at Upton Park these days.

Our team simply isn't good enough to win the play-offs. We'd fuck it up at home in the two-legged tie. Brighton or Birmingham, or some other side like that, will come to UP and turn us over 2-0 and then cling on to a draw on the coast (or vice-versa). Job done. For them.

with only a few games to go its a stupid time to go against anyone at the club, if we achieve our objective then we can all have our say but for now we should all be behind everyone at the club

He's not going to walk. He's not getting sacked. Just those with an agenda against him from day 1 wetting their beds in the night having wet dreams about the possibility.

BFS will only walk if he is offered the big job or a mid table northern team

"his tactics are baffling", "sometimes it's not pretty to watch", "sometimes his substitutions make no sense"
Fans booing, singing the name of other managers, just generally getting on the managers / players backs.
Reminds me of another Championship manager we had. Pardew? What ever happened to him the season he got us up? Seems to remember him becoming somewhat of a cult hero? Despite getting us no where near automatic promotion.

Love him or loathe him now is not the right time to start getting on BFS's back - now is the time to get behind the club and support it to its maximum on and off the football pitch in doing our bit to ensure we are playing in the top tier of english football next year.
Agreed its not pleasant to watch, agreed some of his tactics are baffling and agreed some of the players have not met expectaions, indeed in some cases fall way below.
In BFS's defence - never ebfore have we had opness and togetherness right through the club, from the 1st team right down to the Youth Academy. In past years under Pardew, Curbishley, Zola & GRant there was no interaction whatsoever between the 1st team & reserves even let alone the Youth team - under BFS and his team that now exists in bucket loads and with the exception of style of play I like what I have seen from BFS & his coaching team where the Youth are concerned.
We are in touching distance of achieving what we set out to achieve which is automatic promotion and a win on Saturday against Reading with 36,000 fans all behind the team from the off will really help.
If we all do our bit and we achieve this and then BFS does not introduce a more pleaseing style of play in the Premiership then that is the time to voice your opinions!
