Is Over rated one word?
Anyway, we have had a lot negative threads recently and it will get worse this week i'm sure. So here is a bit of a light hearted one.
I'm not talking about poor player, i'm talking about players the media and lots of people hype up but really aren't as good as the media would have you believe.
I'm talking about players like Rooney. A very good player and capable of some excellent things, but the way the media cream over everything he does makes him over rated.
Joe Hart is another, a good goal keeper and could have the ability to become great, but not there yet, not the best keeper in the prem and probably not the best english keeper either yet despite the media telling you he is.
Scott Parker a tenacious midfielder and never stops trying. You can't fault his effort, but in reality his passing is limited and as much as i like him as a player he isn't as good as people make out.
There is three to get you started.
Only rule is you can't choose any West Ham players otherwise it will just become another boring argument thread.

...this is after only playing 4 times (according to wiki) in the last 2 seasons. If getting into the national without even needing to play games isn't being overrated then I don't know what is.

I think Ibrahimovic is a fantastic player. Regularly scores goals but do agree that he doesn't always do himself justice

Daren Bent - not exactly overrated but a lot of clubs have paid a lot of money for him.
I know he scores his fair share of goals, but that is exactly why I think he is overrated as I just don't understand how! He scores a lot, but he is utter, utter dogshit. It totally baffles me!

Overrated young player... Wilfiried Zaha.
As far as I'm concerned he's no better than Zavon Hines. Quick feet, a cocky attitude, but very little final product.
I know he's young and he could kick on yet. But I don't see what everyone's creaming themselves over.
