Chester - you'll get 5% off for four years, which equates to 20%. Not ideal, but the Club can't afford to lose so much money. They're still honouring it, just differently. And in the long run we'll gain as ST prices (probably) go up.
It was a stupid offer in the first place - especially considering that Duxbury et al had borrowed against future ST sales.

The huge debts at the club I could understand if they'd gambled Leeds style & we'd gone close to winning something or champions league.
But we didn't, staved off relegation then got relegated but we the fans have to cough up for it.
For me it was Gold & Sullivan's fault we went down, failing to deal with the Grant situation so I'm not exactly about to throw my money at them blindly.

yea we all got more than 20% off last season, yes we went down, but that wasnt in the contract, + that was the old regime

You only get 5% off if you've had an ST for five years! A new band 4 ST will be £600.

Cheers for clarifying. More than happy with this and it adds up to the same discount, sensible move by the club to effectively honour the loyalty bonus but still keep the ST revenue up.

I suppose the club could always get round it by whacking on a a 10% increase next year (even though they was ORIGINALLY) going to do a 5% increase... or is that me just being cynical??

I would have preferred to have the 20% all at once in this particular year to be honest but I don't really care.
