What crowley said on page 3!(Well said that man) Everybody too there own really, who gives a shit what the WHO fashion police say at the end of the day? You only have to look at the "What are you wearing to the match/What jeans do you wear" threads for fucks sake....be the same people who will be wanking themselves silly when/if we get an Adidas kit or some such :-) Slighty off topic, but spending a bundle dosent always equate to cool...anyway rant over.

I wear my west ham shirts on my daily bike ride to and from college. However, I wouldn't wear one to a game or out, what happens if you end up going out for the rest of the day?

Boltkunt the reason you don't go to games is cos you're too tight, and you know it

Replica shirts worn to games isn't for me but its ok. The people who wear them while on holiday? I'll just say - people to avoid.

Foe Bear aint gonna be happy with this:
Our 2011/12 Macron Replica kit sale starts today instore and online. Visit the official online store or Facebook store to start your sales shopping and show your claret and blue colours for Big Sam and his squad in our push for promotion.
All remaining adult replica shirts are now only £25 and junior replica shirts are only £20. Shorts, socks and baby and infant kits have also been reduced.
You can also make huge savings on end of range Macron replica trainingwear which can be viewed here.
There are strictly limited sizes and styles available so when it’s gone, it’s gone.
Not all of our stores will have all sizes and styles remaining so if you are visiting a store in person we recommend that you phone the store to check availability. You can view store contact details here.
Come on you Irons!
Everyone at West Ham United

Davies, I don't go to games because in all fairness, I don't really fancy it.
Going to the odd game here and there is fine, but I couldn't go as regular as many do on here which I applaud, mainly because I think the prices are a joke and I can't justify paying the money.
That said, had I earnt a decent wedge and didn't have to work Saturdays I'd probably attend more, just because I could.

It's "not cool" to wear replica shirts these days, whether it be your club side or national side.
It's "chavvy" to do this.
I still bust out shirts if i'm just knocking around the streets or going to the gym.

They are a bit pricy so I don`t buy them, but I do have a few cheap West Ham t-shirts. Considered buying a replica top (Holland) for when out in the back garden or cycling, but again the cost put me off. I`m not too fussed by adults wearing them, but I`d prefer a club scarf myself.

If i had a son (that i knew about) and took him to matches id have him fully kitted out and id get a shirt for myself!
Though i do prefer the more vintage replica's!

I buy the training tops every year and wear it to the gym. The last strip shirt I bought was in 2002/3. I felt too old to wear it so sent it off to the club to get signed and gave it to a charity auction.
Big fat bellied blokes stretching the shirt over themselves is wrong.
The saddest thing I saw was a Spurs fan wearing the full kit, shirt, short and socks and black and white Adidas trainers. Bloke must have been 40 if he was a day...For some reason I thought of HPFL...

I think the worst example I have ever witnessed was a fat geordie at the boleyn a few years ago who had the number 69 on his shirt and above it "I WANNA"
being an obese barcode i doubt the shirt remained on his lumbering carcass for very long into the game.

Brain Damaged 10:15 Wed Mar 28 Re: Why do grown men wear replica shirts to matches? Each to their own, I suppose.
The ones that get me though are the men that have the name and number of their favourite player on their back.
>Can you imagine what a tool someone would be to put their nickname on the back. Something like Di Beakio for someone with a big conk (not a spelling mistake).

Dave M is right. Although i wouldn't put a players name on the back of it, it's my shirt not theirs.
