Pregnant women and giving up your seat. What's your take on it?
I enjoyed the discussion on grown men wearing football shirts yesterday so, wanted to get Whoers thoughts on the following.

I was on the tube on my way home last night and a pregnant woman asked a man if she could have his seat. The man kindly obliged. Should she have had to ask? should she have asked at all? Should he have refused? Do you give up your seat for a pregnant woman? Should you have to? If she can walk, surely she can stand?

Whats' your thoughts Lads and lasses?

Shame she had to ask him to move, rather than you having the arsehole to do it WG.

Trust me I would have had it come to it, but being the gentleman that I am I let the wife on first and like always, she had no hesitation in asking.

My missus got up on the train a couple of weeks ago to offer this old boy a seat. He wouldn't take it. Whilst she was insisting, some rudeboy sat down. I wasn't there but by all accounts she tore a strip off him and he got off next stop.

Mrs V was on the DLR when a pregnant girl got on with her bloke. Mrs V got up to let the girl sit down. Next stop someone got up to get off and the bird's bloke took the seat, and old preggers didnt say a word. So fuck 'em!

MPH-10:35 but you're quite happy to accept lifts round the country following West Ham polluting the air or on a train or even on a coach.
When you are a fully paid up vegan wearing non-leather shoes sitting at home in your solar panelled gaff, doing good to all, actually putting into practice what you preach, then and only then spout your crap.

Surely any man would give up their seat to a pregnant woman, elderly or a mum with young children?

On way home on the c2c some fat heffer bird gets on the train and tells the nearest person she needs their seat because she is "disabled". Makes my fucking blood boil.

I do give up my seat, however old people shouldn't be on packed commuter trains if they are not going to work. You have all day to use the train, likewise for supermarkets, you have all week why the fuck do you have to shop on a Saturday and get in my way!

The fact that this is even being debated is a bit sad, the question should be why do people today find it so hard to just do the right thing??
