Fivetide 9:02 Fri Mar 30 Centre back partnership versus defensive midfield option
It looks like Faye is going to be available for selection tomorrow.
What are your opinions of using arguably our strongest centre back partnership of Faye/Tomkins in the most important game of the season - versus solidifying the midfield with James and making do with Collins alongside Faye to accommodate that DM?
Which is the most intelligent formation to play Reading, and does either signify 'playing not to lose' or playing to win?

All depends on diop.

Tomkins should not play in midfield again. Terrible, negative tactics, especially when we have centre midfielders available for selection.

slot Tomkins back to centre back bring Diop in who is in full training and you have the best of botrh worlds. Cole & Vaz te to start and Baldock to be used when Cole starts lagging - Faubert will provide some of the width and a 2 0 win come on you irons
