Northern

I saw the Chords play live at Canterbury Uni in 1980. Loads of skinheads turned up but us Mods ran them stupid...lots of aggro.

Northern, i was a mod between 80 and 82 and there used to be untold grief at gigs. When it wasn't with the punks and skins then it was with mods from other areas. Looking back on it makes me wonder why I even bothered going out

Very true mate.... saw them three times in their reunion gigs.... saw them back in the day in 81... got pretty nasty that night... lots of gigs especially the Oi type (Rejects, Sham69, Screwdriver etc) was loads of grief apparently... remember shed loads of grief at do's here round Southend... being a Mod/Scooter Boy in the 80's was a hairy time ... especially at bank Holidays !

I had the misfortune of seeing some of that show "The Voice", she sits there moving her head like a chicken and clicking her fingers and I feel like stabbing her myself.
