Recommend A Documentary

Seen one that you think's worth a watch?
Tell me what it is then. I love a good documentary.
I'll recommend "80 Blocks From Tiffany's." It's a 1979 documentary about two Bronx street gangs, the Savage Skulls and the Nomads, and anyone who grew up on The Warriors will probably love it.

Have watched several of these over the last few weeks and they were mostly excellent, The Bridge {still have that haunting image in my head of the bloke withthe long hair}, Project Nim, Man on Wire and a special thanks to who ever recommended Down from the Mountain, Great Stuff.
Last night I watched the most horrific documentary I have ever seen. Deliver us from Evil about a paedophile Irish preist called Oliver O Grady. I had actually never heard of him.The content of this equally as horrific, outrageous, sickening and saddening words fail me I have never felt so much anger as towards this sneering piece of crap. So when it was all over itsuggested that he was living somewhere loose in ireland in Tipperary in Thurles.I have family and lots of friends down that way. Anyway , googled him and found that he had recently got 3 years in a Dublin court for possession of child pornography.
Grim though it is, it is an excellent documentary and the P.R people in the vatican and the Catholic Church would be well advised to have a look at it.

Forgot one......
A Diary for Timothy by Humphrey Jennings.
Made just after the 2nd world war it documented the state of England at that time in the form of a visual diary for a child born in September 1944. He also directed 'Fires Were Started' which wasn't strictly a doc but it followed a group of East End firefighters during the Blitz. Both are excellent.

I'll probably get carded for bumping this, but there you go.
Just finished watching The Two Escobars, and it was a great film. Many thanks to those who recommended it.
Here's a few more oddities..
The Angry Brigade. BBC film, broadcast january '73. First twenty minutes is a potted history of the spread of far-left/anarchist thinking across Europe. Situationists, Baader Meinhof, etc. Then moves on to the attacks in London by the Angry Brigade, and their subsequent arrest. It's in perfect quality, and one piece here.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrNyFlUK7Jo
It's also on youtube in dodgier quality under the title The Angry Brigade: The Spectacular Rise and Fall of Britain's First Urban Guerilla Group, but with the follow up 1980 documentary The Persons Unknown tagged on the end. That one's about the "Persons Unknown" trial at the Old Bailey, which at the time was the longest trial in British criminal history. Not sure if it still is? TPU features Crass, for those who might be interested (not my cup of tea, but each to their own).
Poto and Cabengo (1980). Film about identical twins Grace and Virginia Kennedy who, largely neglected by their parents, developed their own personal language. It's by turns fascinating, heartwarming, and sad. Unfortunately the film's put together in a really annoyingly "arty" way (not that surprising, it was made by a former associate of Jean-Luc Godard), but it's still worth a look. The whole thing in one piece.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-Xfxp8ZfWE
The Power of the Witch. 1971 BBC documentary about the resurgence of British witchcraft. One for fans of The Wicker Man.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JVbnIhDCv0
Man Alive: What's The Truth About Hells Angels and Skinheads? 1969 film about.. er.. British Hells Angels and Skinheads. Not great quality, but still watchable. Starts here.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7JL4SyaQtc Skinhead section starts here.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYJ_ThM0Ffk
