Some freakishly good results thanks mainly to the golf, West Ham & Man Utd . About £8k ahead of notional group stake. Never seen so many good scores. Ok the Italian games were postponed, but I never put so many into an accum, so did it for real just in case. It would have been nice.

Alex, yeah, can't recall any National being that close before. Thought it had it in the bag same thing happened with my bet on the Welsh National this year as well! Got to laugh...
Got to respect Neptune Collonges for finding that though - age and weight against him and all that.
Can't rule out the French horses in it anymore either...

so unlucky Whu(ex). Ended up with mixed feeling about the race. Yes, you want an exciting inish but after 41/2 miles in a once in a lifetime race it's too cruel to see a horse and it's connection lose out by a nose. I would have preferred either horse win the Grand National by 4 or 5 Lengths.
