Going on from the thread players you want to get rid of...
Heres one of players you would like brought in:
Bendtner - dont think he will cost more then £6m, plus getting rid of Piq 38k a week, and Carew, Carlton Cole should be able to pay his wages of around 50k a week.
Alternatives - Fletcher from Wolves, Junior from Blackburn
Joey Cole / Yossi as our creative player
Alternatives:
Ryo - from Bolton, Looks a blinding player, Im sure he would be happier playing with use then Bolton
Formicha from Blackburn
Frimpong could be replacement for Diop as there will be question marks of his fitness.
Couldnt think of any decent LBs. Although wouldnt mind Linda as LB for next season.

I think Curtis Davies is an excellent shout.
Nearly every other name mentioned on this thread is completely out of our reach. Players who are excelling in the Premiership are not going to come to us, wake up.
Players who have excelled in the Championship (Whittingham, Burke, Phillips, Zaha) are going to be extremely expensive and unproven at the higher level - not a great combo for us.
We need players out of form or favour who might be cheap, or players from unfashionable clubs who have to sell.

I feel, on a general basis, after this season, there is no longer any case for keeping ALLARDYCE on the books and all efforts must be made to get him to resign with what shred of DIGNITY he has left in his bloodyminded frame.

We'd have to try with players form this division or those getting relegated.
From this division: Burke, Whittingham, Snodgrass, Zaha and Curtis Davies.
Relegation pickings: Zamora, Fletcher, O'Hara, Moses, Al-Habsi?

Chances are we'll hardly be able to bring anyone in next season. Tomkins, Green, Faubert and probably Nolan and maybe Noble and hopefully Cole will all leave and our strike force will consist of Maynard, Baldock and Vaz Te and maybe Montenegro and Montano as back up and these strikers will all get the chances to shine they deserve. We'll have a smaller squad and BFS won't be able to make quite so many questionable defensive substitutions and team selections as he will have less to choose from so we'' benefit from a more settled team and starting line up. It's going to be tougher down here next season with Leeds probably favorites under Warnock and possibly the two Sheffield clubs to contend with and another two London derbies with QPR and Charlton in the division.

If QPR go down i would not mind the hard working Barton.
Zaha would be a great signing as would Moses( i said we should of signed when he was at palace)
Wouldnt mind swapping Carlton Cole for Grant Holt Either, a hardworking forward with a great goalscoring record very underated.

but academic as we will go into play offs and won't get up. Not sure with this squad I want us up anyway as would be embarrassing. We just do not have the quality to compete.

I also like the 2 Wolves players you mention, and would have mentioned Phillips myself, except concerned he may be too expensive (maybe not since Wolves relegated?).
Hunt, also I agree (!), the Irishman, he doesn't look like a footballer but he's a tidy player as they say. When Roy Keane paid £5m for him, thought that would not be so much overpaying as the amount he underestimated make up for it.
I am unaware of your Port Vale players, and have no recommendations from my local Oxford United at this time.

two from port vale (marc richards, louis dodds), and two from wolves (stephen hunt, matt jarvis).
zaha as mentioned, palace have other very good players too

I usually offer my advice to Alan. If putting this publically fucks Newcastle up next season don't blame me!
My international scouting network suggests approaching the following signings as realistic (cheap) and somewhat desirable for West Ham:
Lee Hodson , RB, 20, Watford
Nat Clyne, LB, 21, Crystal Palace
Lorenzo Crisetig, DM/CM, 19, Inter (but played 1 minute (!) in 2 years)
Francis Coquelin, DM/CM, 20, Arsenal (but played 8 times for them in 4 years)
I've just covered the areas where we need cover, and perhaps 2 defensive midfielders.
These players should be affordable (e.g Hodson 2nd choice at Watford) and will add something to the squad.
I also like Wilfried ZAHA, 19, from Crystal Palace. You all know who he is ... would he be too expensive.?
I do like the way he counter-attacks other teams on the break, particularly.
You wouldn't want him and VAZ TE coming at you. Apart from my ex-girlfriend Sarah, perhaps.

Cole and Benayoun don't play well enough consistently to match their wage demands, which we couldn't afford anyway. Hoilett will get a contract at a top 6 side i reckon. We are better off going for the best players from the relegated sides and some proteges from the Championship (providing we go up). Clyne from Palace could be a shout.
