Robert Green today
I'll watch the goals again later, but from my view in chav corner it looked as if Green had time to sip his tea before getting to the 2nd and 3rd goals today but he didn't even move.

My view of him is that he is generally overrated by us, hence the complete lack of interest in someone signing him. He was also at fault for one of Reading's goals in the last home match by not claiming a corner when it was headed in from 4 yards out.

I accept that he makes good reflex saves at times, but his command of the area is poor, and he often makes simple mistakes like pushing the ball into the paths of opposition players rather than out for corners.

Maybe I'm being harsh, perhaps people watching on telly will have a better idea of today's goals.

Re: Robert GREEN today
You may be correct Jim,
but a contractual agreement has to be honoured even by Sulli,
as he found out with DAVENPORT

Sulli sees it as a financial controllers area of responsibility,
Nevertheless he is out of order

Not like Sulli to make decisions on the playing side of the business that make no sense. It dont matter if he dont speak a word of English, if he's good enough he needs to be given a chance. The downside of having owners who have invested their personal wealth is that I guess they have the right to interfere. :-(

Howard at Everton has tourettes and I dont see Kenwright getting upset with him when he tells him to fvck off when greeting him in the corridors of Goodison.

Ludo says that Marek is deeply hurt that the Owners arent respecting his contract, and that he Loves West Ham.

He is possibly the best Goalie that we have ever produced, but Sulli cannot cope with his accent.

I want him to stay cos he really can save the club

Yeah. Leadership is not his thing and that seems to be reflected in a lack of talking? I like a goal keeper to be organising and talking all the time as they have a great view of everything going on.

Anyway, Hugh, whats your take on Stech? Are we keeping him? We seem reluctant to pay the 500 thousand notes that is due if he plays a first team games so is there doubt in his ability?

Re: Robert Green today
Bit of a trade off with Greeno. Has saved us in many games with great reflex saves but on the flipside his inabiity in the air and dominating the 6 yard area has been well documented all his career. It is the reason Clemence always over looked him for England.

He has cost us a few points but saved us more. What we need is another Ludo next season as I agree Green looks like he is off at the end of the season. Ludo was a big dominant giant in the air but also a great athlete who could get down well for a big man. Whats Stech like? Or this Henderson?

For the record, their goal today was the goalkeeper's ball. He hardly put in a challenge. Looked like he didnt want to get hurt.

Let's hope he is up for the play-offs.

Unfortunately Allardyce has not had the sense to blood Stephen Henderson since his loan signing. I assume he will have a sub keeper for Wembley if we get there. If it goes to extra time and penalties we need the insurance of a substitute,in my humble opinion.
