Thanks for the reminder Stoatie.
Met him once in the Bullseye at Basildon when he was manager at Sarfend. Had a nice chat abt West Ham. A gentlemen but even more admirable was his humility. There he was the only England captain to lift the World Cup, 106 caps, greatest defender ever and he chatted like he would to his mates because thats how he saw himself, as "one of us".
